Honestly, I think somebody who has relative pitch is better than having perfect pitch. Purely because of the fact that you legitimately start to lose perfect pitch later on in life, whereas with relative pitch, you can keep that pretty much as long as you want as long as you practice. But obviously it's a lot harder to develop relative pitch than it is to just be born with perfect pitch.

@@Iphap420 somewhat, except imagine if one half of the piano was mirrored so one hand has all the notes backwards. not impossible to do but would definitely take some getting used to. also the tapping like he's doing is a lot more technique heavy than pressing the keys on a piano.

Mate this guy has inspired me to play guitar years ago, and still aspire to him every day. I am always amazed by his insane talent he shows to everyone, and its amazing he is even human lol. But ever since I started guitar, I have always wanted to learn songs the way he does by ear. I am training my ears now and slowly developing over time. I have been able to play in bands and enjoy life more just because of TheDoos inspiration to guitarists that have watches his videos. @@valenoliva7984 I can't play like The Dooo, but just have fun with it. There was a time when I was more active with learning. What helped me was playing along with songs that I'm not really familiar with, say on a radio station, trying to get the chords, and all, or follow the vocals, or improvise a solo. Doing that with music you already know well is easier but just as helpful... maybe better to start with that. ...sometimes when I watch a movie or something, I try play along to the music, but anything goes; mimic bird songs, transcribe music... I once recorded my neighbours yap dogs and learned that. Again, I'm not The Dooo, I reckon that on top of that he's well versed in theory; scales, chords, etc. I'm not :P

@@rotsen3123 Perfect pitch is being able to tell what any note is by ear and being able to produce any note when asked without a reference. Perfect pitch is something you're born with and most people lose it with age, relative pitch is what you learn and the majority of people that say they have perfect pitch actually have relative pitch. Perfect pitch also isn't the ability to hear a note and play it back perfectly, that's just parroting.

So you know that thing called frisson, where you hear some music that gives you deep chills and goosebumps through your body? Every time Doo plays Dearly Beloved, I can't help but just close my eyes and just vibe. So good. Such a well composed song and Doo does it justice every single time.

The fact I've been watching since 200k subs and these STILL amaze me. just shows you the raw talent and quality of these videos. All the way back to the original blackops to now they've been high quality, can't say I've seen another RU-vid channel that has that kind of consistency.

I so appreciate these vids. They never seem long enough, but they are so good. The look of joy, happiness, and shock whenever you come on and play for folks is the best. Keep spreading that wonder Dooo you have a unique gift and it is awesome you share it with so many even if that means braving buttholes and peens. Have you ever thought about doing some VG remixes/covers to share up on OCremix? Every time I hear your video game remixes my mind instantly goes to the whole, man that would slap to have him put something up on there. Clearly, you can free style on guitar and piano.
