From the “Never would have expected” files: I saw Siouxsie play live at the Santa Monica Civic in ‘84. 🤯🔫 Up until COVID I was still hitting shows and in the mosh. Albeit with ear plugs now, trying to save what hearing I have left. Too many nights in front of Marshall stacks. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Ever since I've started listening to hardcore when Code orange Dropped "Forever" and I've consummed every H5six Live Vids. I've discovered a lot of incredible bands. The best ones are always the one who dropped songs where you go "Oh fuck, is that legal? Talented Musicians can just gather and make stuff like this?" or to put it more simply the one where you go "OOF!" Gulch is definetly my personal favorite right now. I love "Gruel for the Beast" so much

I like reading about music and I did some research on Gulch recently. They are from the Bay Area and just evolved from the scene there and slowly grew with word of mouth and being around other notable acts. For me, and I know a lot of people can say the same, once that 2019 TIHC video got posted by Hate5six they really blew up and got attention from newbies. I was one of them.
