Not only does the Gulf Craft 31 boast one of the largest rear decks in her class, she also comfortably accommodates two adults in the bow, has a galley and a separate bathroom that you can step into without having to crouch down.

In the cockpit, seats tucked away under the side coamings drop down easily to turn your fishing platform into the chardonnay deck. A transom door opens onto a small swim board and dive ladder.
I found the driving position quite comfortable, no need to stand as vision is ideal when seated. Navigation gear is at arms length. Behind the helm are four storage compartments and a void under the floor adds more space large enough to climb into. Plenty of room to place an Engel, fishing tackle, crab pots and more.
You can safely walk around either side of the cabin onto the bow. There is an electric windlass with a Bruce anchor mounted on the bow sprit. This retrieves neatly and easily without the need to leave the helm.
If you are looking for a day boat that you can still overnight on if required, will handle the ocean and also get up the river, then the Gulf Craft is an economically priced option.
