According to the online journal "business insider.com" (November 2nd, 2022), Billionaire Elon Musk has placed an order for this particular Gulfstream G700. The report did not state if or when Musk has yet purchased the jet.
The G700 is the "stretched" version of the G650, and aims to rival the Bombardier 7500 in size. It measures 109 feet and 10 inches in length, and 25 feet and five inches in height, according to Gulfstream. The G700 has a range of 7,500 nautical miles, which means the jet can fly from Singapore to San Francisco non-stop. The G700 has a cruising speed of Mach 0.925 - just under the speed of sound - per the same Gulfstream spec sheet above.
