I like this guy... See how he "comicalize" an otherwise serious and deadly slow-motion gully erosion, eating away the community alive. Societal systemic failure is to blame here. The community and govt must act fast to shore up the houses still standing and build a canal path to the river. Water will always find a way.
Izoduwa, u don't see anything Good abt obaseki. Does this gully start during obaseki? This is man made gully. Communities sell land indiscriminately without paying taxes to the government. Where are the okaeghele, enogie, ohen, odiowere that sold these lands to developers without survey and planning?
@osatofrank93: Do the Italians build their houses or sell land indiscriminately? Do you dump your dirt or dustbin in the gutter in Italy? We always like complaining about effects but not or never willing to talk about or address the root causes; some of the ecological problems in Edo state are self-made. If we don't change our ways, we will keep having those problems, it doesn't matter how much we shout government not working.

@@osamudiamenomede3917 : I think you are not really following what is going on in Edo state and what our governor has been doing to stop indiscriminate selling of lands. Just to answer your question; YES, there is law and there is even special court to treat issues relating to indiscriminate land selling.

@@osamudiamenomede3917 : Because there is a law in place doesn't mean everything will be okay within a very space of time especially something that has become habitual. It took some years for our people to become so careless about our environment, it will also take time to change that mindset, and of course with strict implementation of the law by the government of the day and with the corporation of we the people.
Why is Edo always in kind of mess. It will start and get to worst stage like this. This governor no deliver as expected. They are always energetic about election that ever
