Very rarely does some song become a “ Hall of Fame “ item, and this one will always be one of Kishoreda’s best! Superbly rendered by both singers, and so brilliantly supported by the exceptional orchestra!

What a song from the legendary Kishore da and Lata ji and now from their pupils, Alok da and Shailaja di. Beautiful voice and beautiful rendition! I keep coming back to this and let me tell you, the band is awesome. It's like listening to the original score.

Orchestration is wonderful, very close to the original version. Both the singers have created the song very nicely 👌 an amazing experience of listening this beautiful number once more, one of my favorite song of early seventies of last century ❤️

Firstly I would say FANTASTIC for the song selection. Over & above semi to fully classical & westernized songs, RD has given such beautiful pleasing duets which are so melodious & sweet sounding. I think a full show can be done for RD duets/solo of such type. Performance of the orchestra & singers beautifully as sweet as the song. The suttle guitar was beautifully played. For that matter entire orchestra played beautifully. Shaileja ji is nothing short of perfection as mostly/always. You are making superb use of all your experience & come up with performance to prove that a senior singer is still actively there. Alokji, aapke sur bohot sahi lagte hain, you are perhaps the singer (singing kishoreda's songs) with sharpest voice, I have ever heard. But I would like you to make use of this natural quality to a right/moderate extent. Either try to sort it out in your singing or by way of sound equalising to remove the extra sharpness (just the way, jagjit singh use to do to reduce mid frequencies to boost his bass vocals). Nothing wrong doing that. It is because of this that you tend to (even though actually may not be) sound nasal. Due to over sharpness in your vocals, the pronunciation of the word "haaye" gives marathi accent. Just think, we never hear bengali accent in kishoreda's singing. Also be tactful when you are singing "haaye" especially prolonged as in the original, the part ".....ye" should be pronounced not that loudly. Just observe the way shailaja ji has carried out her pronunciation on this word, wahaan unkaa experience jhalaktaa hai. Am taking the trouble to write all this because I see you have the potential to become an all time great singer in the field of orchestra for kishoreda's songs. Otherwise all in all a wonderful performance.....
