I am 25 years old and I openly admit that if i put ANY FRUIT flavored gum ( such as juicy fruit) in my mouth, will get chewed 30 seconds to 1 minute.. Then, i have no idea why, i swallow it. It makes my mouth water too much, it becomes a goop consistency before it becomes hard, and it literally gets swallowed EVERY TIME. Cant even help it. It's not being "above" others, The Beatles are ridiculously overrated. The recording techniques the A&R guys tried on them catapulted the music industry forward many years, so for that their music should be respected (though I will contest that The Beatles themselves did nothing to help that along. They just supplied the music). All that said, I can't stand them. Their music just isn't special outside of the technical recording space and has given me nothing in terms of emotion or thought, IMO.

Did everyone forget about sour mints? Mints all the way, it just dissolves in your mouth. Mints also have an even flavor curve, gum loses flavor immediately, and then In order to get rid of gum, you have to either be near a trash can, store it on your person until you can get to a receptacle (ever find a piece of old gum in a pocket that you forgot about?), or just straight up litter. Mints create much less waste since gum is usually individually wrapped in a non recyclable foil

I had to go to the dentist for an infected tooth after a full day of chewing fruit stripes gum. It dislodged something or other and I was in so much pain the next day! I think twice about chewing gum now, only on special occasions and only for a short time.
