My parents told me and my brother that Santa didn't exist from the moment we could understand who Santa Claus was. That being said, when my brother was in second or third grade, his class had to write letters to Santa around Christmas time, and he in front of the entire class of children said that Santa did not exist. This obviously led to a bunch of crying and screaming children, so his teacher tried to do damage control and just say that my brother did not believe, but that Santa did, in fact exist. That led to an argument between my brother and his teacher, where my brother was holding firm that Santa did not exist. Finally, during the argument, my brother said, if Santa does exist, he is the meanest person on the planet. To which his teacher asked why he thought that and my brother said, and I quote, "Because all the rich mean kids get everything they want and the poor kids get nothing." 😅😅😅

Any long-time cable users probably know how many times Cartoon Network has had Gumball re-run virtually everyday, but even though I know what to expect from the show since I've watched every episode, just watching people start the show makes the episodes as funny as when I first watched them 🤣

So for the Christmas episode, Santa is played by Brian Blessed. He’s been in many movies, such as Flash Gordon, The Phantom Menace, and the voice of Clayton in Disney’s Tarzan.

My mom tried to convince me of santa, but when i was 3, I outwardly refused to believe. So she finally admitted to it being fake because i just wouldn't drop it, and she was tired of having a child interrogate her, lol. A tradition now is a running joke of my mom telling everyone that i ruined the magic of Christmas for our family. And since i was born on Halloween, she complians that it was the only Halloween she couldn't celebrate because she had to give birth to me. She tells people that I keep ruining her favorite holidays. 😂😂 Of course, it's all in fun, and its become the family joke. We like to see how far we can make other people think she actually means it 😂😂

I always found it Interesting how in America the most incorporated holiday is Christmas even for non religious people. Here where I live it's New year that takes all the hype

Autumn had barely begun, but I am absolutely excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Christmas has been my favorite holiday ever since I was a little kid. I don't remember how I reacted when I found out that the Christmas gifts came from my family, but I highly doubt I was devastated by it. Big stores, like Walmart, Costco and Big Lots already have Christmas trees and decorations ready, and the wait for Christmas to roll around is just torture. 😅

Bro, for the longest time, I was so mad at my dad when he told me ALL AT ONCE that Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny didn't exist. I was roughly 11 or 12 (so same age as Gumball and Darwin), and I just remember myself saying "So all those years of you and mom telling me to never lie, and I find out you two have been lying to me almost 10 years?" I remember him answering my question as to how Santa will get in when the apartment doesn't have a chimney, and I think he said he left a key by the cookies. When my mom found out, she made it clear that she wanted to keep the magic alive for me as long as possible, and I appreciate her for that. My dad's reasoning: he didn't want me to be teased at school, and I mean, yeah... But that was a dark day during my childhood that I never acknowledged for a while until this reaction came up.

If someone were to make a compilation of all the butt stuff in this show, it would be 2 hours long with just gumball alone. Add in the other characters and you're looking at like 5 hours.

I was pretty young because I'd sneak and try to catch Santa. Figured it out young, but as the oldest? Santa exists as long as he keeps bringing you presents.

I was apparently very sceptical about Santa at the time. Then my Grandma asked my Mom where my Mom got one of the Christmas presents and she said Walmart.

I only get 1 from each family member there in my house or in the reunion so like 5 then some extra birthday gifts for my birthday in January from the members who weren’t there for Christmas

Being from the southern hemisphere, I knew Santa wasn't real when I realized it never snows down here and in movies Santa only went where it snowed. So I called BS since he's supposed to go around the world

i personally never understood why parents told their kids santa is real just to tell them he isn't later. my mom never told me santa was real in the first place and i just have zero attachment to santa. i still loved Christmas a lot though.

lol I learned Santa didn’t exist late. Like 4th grade and it was bc my church had my dad play Santa and they knew that no matter what he wore I’d still recognize my dad. I’d absolutely be the kid to look at Santa and go DAD???? so they told me beforehand. But I remember being embarrassed after they told me Santa isn’t real bc I was DEBATING KIDS on it with EVIDENCE. Honestly Despite being a Christian. I Never Beleived in the idea of Santa. It never really felt real. Plus I remember rearranging the Letters when I was in 5th Grade and I Ended up with satan. SO yeah. Not a Fan of Santa or Christmas. SO thanksgiving and New years are my holidays. The underrated ones of course.

The first year my mom told me to write down a list for Santa I wrote down all the expensive stuff thinking Santa could pay the bill but she took one look at the list and told me sorry Santa is on a budget this year so pick one or two so I knew it then.
