I’m an avid 90s hip hop fan. Wu Tang, Big L, Rakim, DMX, you know them all. Your skills are top shelf. Not just for “country rap”. A lot of people seem to listen for your political message. I don’t care about that. Id rather not mix politics and music. Your lyricism is on point and has an old school feel to it. Sad to see it’s your last album.
Music has been political for decades. I listen to punk rock and that’s the exact opposite spectrum of politics. I like the messages in both because they’re both more libertarian than right or left. If the music is good the music is good
I respect your view but listen to the lyrics in music back in the day. It WAS political. It might not of been on a national sale but more so what happened locally. NWA, Public Enemy, Ice-T were hugely policital but confined to local happenings. That's what I like so much about Adam's music, yeah some of it is politics but it's alot of what the feel is where he lives.

The political ones, Tupac, etc. Were assassinated for being political. Tupac did ALOT more then "Hit em up". He had an album about the hood that just blew my mind. THAT is why he died. Not hit em up. The gov, be sketch. And that's why the 'political' songs. They want control, people who motivate others to think outside the box end up merkd.
