Gumbuya World Vlog January 2023 

Thanks so much for hanging out with me for the Wildlife Tour! Was a great laugh, especially seeing that "Lizard Fascinator" - All set for Royal Ascott Charlotte :) And what an amazing review of our park! I couldn't watch the Rebel footage for too long though, got me feeling a little queasy. And thanks for the shoutout for my new RU-vid channel too, you're the best! There's a couple of coaster videos of TNT & Rebel across on my channel that I think your viewers will enjoy. Keep up the great work Shawn & Charlotte, hopefully we see you again down the road again when we have expanded the park further. Benny 🪶

It's great to see a park taking such initiative. This place has got us all down in Oz very excited. I think all it's missing is that one 'signature' ride, a thrill coaster with a bit of a longer layout.

This is the best trip series you have done so far, seeing all these new parks and attractions is so interesting and the scenery is just stunning, I cant wait to see the rest of the videos in this series and what you have got planned for the rest of the year as you said you were going to visit more new parks and sights, i always look forward to your vlogs across both your channels. I cant wait to see the shed when it is finished inside as well.

What a lovely looking place. Different pace, which can be much needed on longer trips, and plenty to do. I’m very much with Charlotte on the water stuff. I hate water parks so would definitely stick to the shallows. Ranger Benny was great. That personal tour is a special thing.

Got up this morning to be greeted with a Theme park worldwide vlog. Great start to the day. You knowledge of parks is phenomenal. It just goes to show you how much you and Charlotte and Themepark Worldwide is respected in the theme park community, and that most of the parks giving you free entry, and into employees only places. Great vlog there was so much in it i had to watch it more than once to take it all in! Loved seeing the animals close up and your reactions, you were very brave with the snake and the tree kangaroo and Kwala were so cute.

Looks a great park to visit guys, got the weather and location. Like the fact it's mixed with attractions for everyone.

Really like that park, it has a little of everything . So cool getting to hold the lizard and snake and to see a larger Koala up close :) I never knew they were bigger in one part of Australia to the other . Would love to go there one day! Thanks for the tour.

This entire trip with you both has been brilliant so far. I was very lucky to visit Australia in Jan 2020 and had a great time reconnecting with my sister who moved to Melbourne from the UK 30+ years ago. We spent a day at Luna park in Melbourne and I went up to Sydney for a few days on my own which was a big deal for me. Thanks for reminding me of a wonderful solo trip. You are really my favourite YT channel and I really enjoy the playlists from all your adventures as I have mobility issues which prevents me getting to amusement and theme parks much myself. I hope someday to write some music for darkrides etc and queue lines as it's a passion of mine. Keep on riding 👌👍😀

I doubt many outside of the Melbourne area knew the place existed until they acquired BuzzSaw (now Project Zero). A nice starter thrill coaster. Maybe we could see more Vekoma's down under in the future?

You guys are the best. I was laughing from start to finish, mainly because your just as wacky as I am! 🤣 whipping was just completely roll on the floor hilarious! Best youtubers by a long way in my opinion! Ps,So proud of Charlotte on the spinning taxis believe me you can work up from there to big swings little by little. Its what I did it myself.

What a lovely park. Great mixture of rides and animals with a water park bonus. The animal ranger tour was brilliant and so informative. You were both braver than me holding the lizards and that snake. Shawn’s whip cracking needs a lot of work though. 😂😂.

What a lovely place I will say I think Charlotte is so brave going on zero and loved the lizards I would have loved to have held them and the snake loved Charlotte's hat lol the water looked lovely aswell great to see thankyou see you tomorrow guys enjoy xxxx

Finally went today. Monday public holiday, 24 and sunny, moderate crowds. Project Zero surprised me. I sat in the very back seat and although a one trick pony and short one, I have to say it was incredibly intense and I think people hating on the Maurer Sky loops are probably just intimidated by them. That restraint was down tight and I was OUT of my seat from about 3/4 of the way up the lift hill for the *entire* duration of the ride. Getting whipped down in the back seat and also the swing run at the end was intense. Trust me it's fun. That said, I did not find it smooth, I banged my head twice, so keep that in mind. I am 6ft 4 so not sure if that made a difference. TNT was one of the best family coasters I have ever been on. I initially was against the decision to put it in but I was wrong. Glass smooth and again the back seat is the spot to be in this one. Great forces and some legit airtime moments. I sat towards the front also and it wasn't as good and I recommend that more for those wanting a less intense experience. One thing I don't like is that, like all Australian parks, they don't have the queue lines organised in a way that you can automatically line up for the row you want. You need to request it and hope for the best. The mining race coaster was ok for families and a great one to start youngsters off. Very tight trains so I had to sit sideways and on my own in a car lol. It was the only way I could get the restraint down. Rebel was closed. I saw it run when I entered the park but then it was closed at lunchtime till I left so I just left. Rush Hour had good centrifugal forces. I asked her to run it as fast as possible and I am sure for a few seconds there she did as I was pinned.

Gotta be one of the best channels on RU-vid love what you both do! So interesting to see all these places 🎉😊

I absolutley loved this vlog. Its probably one of my favourite if not my number 1 favourite vlogs on Theme Park Worldwide ever. I just loved the mix of theme park, animal park and water park and was really enjoyable, what a great vlog! So gald to see you are enjoying the trip and loved all the vlogs from this trip so far

This park so Beautiful and loving the esthetic. Charlotte I too get extremely nausea on the spinning rides and some roller coasters. I usually take a non drowsy anti nausea medication about 30 mins before heading to a park, there are also many non medication options like bracelets and patches that you can wear behind your ears ect. Huge help. Sometimes for me anyway one wrong ride can ruin my entire day. I Really enjoyed this video, you two are hysterical. Much luv. Definitely going to be following Ranger Benny on RU-vid ❤️

Cheers for another video vlog, really enjoyed and again look forward in future again for more videos. Loved the POV's footage, good to see more POV's on this channel. Loved the TNT Themed Rollercoaster, really love the theming and the coaster layout. Would love to see a UK theme park gain a coaster type like this, I mean other UK parks as know that Paultons Park has one like this? But yeah to see one at other UK parks would be epic, with maybe a break room and more trains & bigger layouts? Loved the whip sessions, really interesting. Glad you gave it a try, also good videos and interesting part to see Ranger Benny with animals, found him quite comical to watch, humour 100% funny. Good sport & yeah will at some point check out his RU-vid channel & videos. But yeah, again thank you for filming, sharing both your experiences. Enjoyed 100% and look forward for more. 😀👍

That KMG rebal ride did look intense, especially with you commenting about the intensity, lol. In Perth on the grass areas near the beach front and some parks, they have gas bbq that you can use. Get the chuk and snaggers on barbee, lol. btw if you get a chance, try and go for a walk around where all the best bars, clubs, and restaurants are the area in Northbridge. Have a good time at Adventure World. i used to work there👍and you did well with the snake 🐍 😀

That car theme spinning ride kind of reminds me of a child friendly 'take off' style ride 😂

This park looks amazing place to go, loving the vlogs.

The secret for using a whip is the material and how fast your hand recoil is as you have to stop instantly and reverse quickly to create that sound. Leather whips are the standard as they are easy to use and are fairly easy on the body. I use the Chinese rope darts mostly for practice but they are pretty much the same idea in usage. It’s about control.

Benny's an absolute legend.

I used to go on that KMG attraction at a funfair, apparently the seats were meant to spin all the way through, but it was too intense. That's why they had to lock them and they only start spinning when the arm swings at a 90 degree angle.

Ik this is gonna sound so weird, but what does everyone think about having a water ride in forbidden valley at alton towers? I would love it! Congo needs an upgrade! But still I think they should put a water ride in forbidden valley. Where ripsaw was. And the space behind it.

I think the Junior Coaster's layout is the same as Junior Red Force's layout!

I came here for a school excursion last year and I LOVED it, sadly Project 0 and TNT were gonna open like a week later, I would’ve wanted to ride it even though I got a HUGE phobia of roller coasters

12:25 I think Six Flags New England had a 3-arm version hiding in their western area for a few years

I have been to go Gumbuya world before because I live in Melbourne and I went there two times my first time it was a very hot and a sunny day and on the second time I went with my cousin and we went down this slide at the end it's black and white you might see it's in the video I went down the orange one and my cousin went down the red one it was so much fun but now it's winter in Melbourne so we can't go but maybe when it's summer again❤😊

Shout out to ranger Benny , what a top bloke and a great experience for you both , had to chuckle at Shawn's face when he got the snake around his neck , nervous....a bit .....what a great place with so much to do and again very well kept and clean . Have to admit I was liking the tree kangaroo and some very interesting facts about the Koala , I never knew about the thumbs and double claws. Bless her Charlotte has done pretty well so far with her effort to go on water rides in general so cant blame her taking a break from the bigger ones . I'm loving these Aussie videos so much I'm almost wishing my relations had been criminals back in the days , somehow I think they turned out with the better deal .....what a country !! Stunningly beautiful and such great people , I will miss these videos when you move on with your trip. Have to say so far you've had some great hospitality from these parks so far which is impressive and this one was no different , shout out to the Australians for being so welcoming 👍
