Back from the hiatus. For a while I've been chatting with GUMI so we could work together, to me she holds a very important spot along with Miku in vocaloid history, so when VOCALOID6 released I thought it was a good chance to see what we could do! This is basically a test, I used both a standard production + vocalo changer for this one. Hope you like it.

Gumi has one of the better voices in the vocaloid world. Too bad she got separated by company rights from Luka and Meiko. They were a vocaloid dream team.

Usually, Vocaloid doesn't sound human at all. It might be the visuals too but this cover is straight Uncanny Valley. I love it! 💚

GUMI is the most human sounding, and with the new AI voice stuff VOCALOID6 has its only getting better. as well as knowing how to work with the GUMI VB, alot of producers that buy GUMI end up giving up because she's apparently a nightmare to tune.

Usually it depends of producer(musician) work, will it sound like a human or not. Anyway, Yuzuki Yukari usually sounds AMAZING with jazz arrangements by some jazz musicians.

A good example of quality tuning is Teddyloid's song Invisible Lovers. Two words: breathing dynamics. Japanese voice bank though, sorry.
