To answer your question, yes. Kino imo is the most condensed zombies experience. Pure zombies goodness. The best iteration is the BO1 version.

Thunder Gun has a point cap, that's why it's so bad at getting them. Basically you can kill a whole horde but it will only count zombies up to 300 points or something like that, not counting all the zombies you kill.

I can't fault people for hold Kino in high regard, tbh. I put it up there with Buried and Shadows, as ends / starts of each Zombies era. Yeah you could argue Origins but I'd argue back Shadows is when they REALLY went whole hog into everything. Kino is the last simple "nazi zombies" with the emphasis on the nazis, and it's just...dumb fun.

Kino has a special place in my little gamer heart because my first time playing zombies was on that map. I can agree it's not the best but in terms of straight zombie slaying fun and nostalgia I think its goated. Love the vids Satch💯

I feel like the main reason a lot of people hold kino in high regards is that like yourself, they played a lot of kino, I played far too much of it since it was the only map I had for zombies minus doing the little code to get five. So there’s a lot of nostalgia at play, making people not think of the negatives or they fine tuned their gameplay to not notice many of the negatives

Yeah i agree kino is definitely not the best but it is my favorite (I'm biased). People mainly say its the best because that's what they grew up with. But when i think best cod zombies maps 3 instantly pop up that being shadows of evil, mob of the dead, and origins.

My personal favorite map has always been and will always be either Firebase Z (just scratches a part of my brain with the mixup in gameplay), and Town. I'm sorry... But I do agree with the zombies progression, that I do miss the starter weapon once in a while. However. Counter point. They don't need to bring it back because if you want to start the games with a pistol, with no attachments. Then do it. Don't allow attachments on that pistol until you get the same pistol, I always, have a class set up, called "challenges" and it's the M1911, no attachments, with energy mines. Because they are the closest to bouncing Betty's/claymores. If you want to have a classic zombies progression, just start with the pistol. They don't need to add a feature that forces you into it... Yes they can make a mode like they did in cold war, outlast survival. But it also added other things rather than just the starter pistol. Edit: remember, the gun game mods from these videos they include the wonder weapon the maps usually. Like octagonal ascension. You got the Mark 2 mid way. It's a wonder weapon from the mods/maps. Not the game itself.

Kino is definitely my favorite map. I played it too much yes. But the nightmares it gave mini me because of the dog is so memorable

I believe Kino is by far one of the if not the most iconic zombies map. Favourite however would be Shadows Of Evil from Black Ops 3. It’s quite the challenge, but the style, the music, the characters and trials, it hits every mark for me.

I think Kino is the best *starting* map. It's a perfect and simple introduction to the core mechanics of the game without being too crowded or complicated. Otherwise Origins all day every day

The Galatz is a real world variant of the Galil that's like a battle rifle or some sort of marksman rifle. It's in Cold War but you basically had to put certain attachments on it to turn the Galil into the Galatz. TLDR: Cold War has secret guns/conversion kits like MW2019

There’s really no “best” map. Everyone has their own bias, and most can’t even agree on a single map. I think zombies in space land, origins, moon, shadows of evil, and revelations are all my favorite.

To your point of the Cold War campaign, I just loved the fact that you could kill Adler in the “bad ending”. Seeing as he offs you at the end of the cannon story, I lost all respect and liking for this character. This was the start of my villain arc which admittedly ended soon after I did a 360 no scope on him. I even got an achievement for that. Point is, yes go through the campaign again, but be sure to do the extra goodies you get along side it, don’t just plow through the full thing.

i only recently picked up bo3 (haven't played since bo2) to play zombies again and until i played DE kino was my fav map....

The last time i had fun playing Kino was when i played the 50 perk mod and the cause and effect mod.... Regular gameplay on Kino is just so flavorless imo....

If BO6 does end up being only online, there's going to be so many people who won't buy it simply because of the reason that they won't be able to use something they paid the license for. Or if people do buy physical, after so many years it will just become a shelf piece. Treyarch could be looking at multiple lawsuits. Along with any other company that does this in the future

I’ve played every map to date and I still love die rise everyone hated it it was my favorite map and still is core memory’s with me and my brother making it to round 100 and veruct was my second favorite same reason when word at war was the only game me and my friends I knew in school would get to high rounds doing glitches its core memory’s

you say there is no EE on Kino but players that constantly look for things to give the rest of us information on how to play the game found out that the knocking if you pay attention to how many knocks and knife and you end up starting the kino EE and no Kino isn't just a box there are stairs you could even go outside to the alley it's all on how a person plays me personally sometimes i'm training zombies on the stage or i'm running them in a route on the path going through the right side i personally think Kino is the best map and i'm even though i have Kino on my black ops 3 with gobblegums i'm going to buy black ops 1 and the DLCs for it for PC so i could play the old versions of it i miss the HK21 and how i used to run out of ammo on both it and my upgraded thunder gun but i'm also going to get BO2 for pc along with the DLCs so i could have more maps because even though we have our favorites and so called best maps we could never stick to just one map

I have bought almost all the CODs every year for like 17 years straight skipped out on Vanguard and new MW3 (2023) only 2 CODs I don't have and have played all the zombie maps and still say that the WaW and BO1 era maps are the best as for BO2 maps I'd say Die Rise, Buried, and Town are my favorites of that game and like there are a few maps here and there over the years that are ok but rest just meh

kino was always bad to me when i played it as a kid i hated the nova crawlers and when i play it now its just a boring infinite train simulator

Younger me would've told you that you are a disgrace for zombie community if you say that kino is not the best zombies map, but now i realise that all that was because of the good memories it brings me. Not a great map, is pretty easy, not a single "good" easter egg... But man, those times coming home from school and start my PS3 with my 3 friends and just kill zombies till round whatever... I'd pay lots of money (that i don't even have) to play one more time. And remember, there will be a last time playing your actual favourite map and you don't even know.
