Why anyone would freely tell the government what they constitutionally own is beyond me.

You know the government is against the people when they want our semi autos but just gifted full auto weapons and other tech to the taliban.

REPEAL THE NFA, completely, make full autos legal again!

I submitted my letter to the atf. As a disabled person that has difficulty holding a pistol one handed, i reached out for advice and was told about pistol braces by Daniel H. at the ATF. He assured me that they were legal and wouldn't be made illegal because of Ada. If they out law, I will be filing a Americans with disabledilty act complaint and law suit

In the late 50s when I was young, when visiting my grandma, my dad and I would walk sound 2/10 of a mile to a surplus store. In there they had three large barrels and in one barrel there were M1 Garand's for $15.00... another barrel 98K's for $10.00 and in the third barrel were rifles from various nations from around $7.00. In the front counter there were 45s, Luger, P38s and so on. I don't know if there was a background check on handguns but on rifles there wasn't and crime was waaayyy lower than today. What has happened since then?! It seems that the more laws there is the more crime increases.

They can make laws at the federal level, but the precedent to ignore federal law on a state level has been set with alcohol and Marijuana. We need to better organize and defend our rights as a unit.

In a tyrannical gov’t/SHTF type situation, it seems unlikely that that our criminal population will stand up and fight. The normal 2A supporting, law abiding citizen may just become a very real threat to this (currently fictitious) tyrannical situation. It’s been said thousands of times before. They are scared of us, not the criminals. My two cents.

Really appreciate all that you guys do & enjoy your videos, not picking on you nor am I sharpshooting you, but like most folks you talk about the 2nd Amendment as if it is only about firearms. It is not, read the Amendment, it state arms, that includes bladed weapons as well, now look at how many cities, counties, & states have taken bladed arms away from us and no one ever thought about using a 2nd Amendment argument against those actions. At the same time back in the 30's when the NFA was written and they decided that short barreled rifles and shotguns should be taken away from civilians the argument they used were that they were unacceptable for use by the military and the 2nd Amendment was in place to insure that the populace would be able to fight alongside the military in case of a foreign invasion. The argument was that the SBR & SBS would not have a legitimate use on the battlefield, today they are arguing that the AR/AK style rifles don't have a place in our society because they possibly have a legitimate use on the battlefield? Think about that for a minute, less than 100 years and they government is arguing the exact opposite in order to control something that they are not supposed to touch. You guys are correct the number of rifles used in crime miniscule, but rifles with detachable magazines are scary to people ignorant of firearms, the fact that the news media does their best to terrify people by incorrectly showing fully automatic weapons when semi-auto weapons were actually used. But it is an easy target for the communists to go for, and when that doesn't make any difference in crime, they will then go after magazine fed hand-guns, and this will continue until they come after your cap & ball and your airsoft guns as well. The thing I always mention is that these laws always go after the law abiding citizen, they never set up anything to go after criminals with guns, there is actually a law that states that a criminal does not have to admit to having a firearm as it is self incrimination, WTH? This is not about the government stopping criminals. Never was. It's about us as citizens being able to stop criminals.

Something y'all didn't even mention is: that Glock 17 you was talking about being a NFA item you would have to get ATF permission to cross state lines.

The verbiage of the bill is "semiautomatic rifle". It does NOT refer to handguns.

What they’ll do if it passes is waive the tax to promote compliance.

I think they purposely ignore 2A cases because it’s so difficult to argue against it. They don’t want to come out and say “ yes, assault rifles are protected, mag bans are illegal, and even machine guns are legal.”

With respect to "you can't tax people's rights", then why do we still have a FOID card registration in IL, and the at-sale fees to run the government "oversight" of our exercise of 2A right? NFA stuff is a tax, but so are all these other items, just labeled as "fees".

Little Johnny's 10/22 just more than doubled in price. Now that's distancing the next generation of 2A defenders from firearms. Yep, the NFA must go...and Chipman needs to be gone as well. Of course, "that" list certainty doesn't stop with Chipman.

Every single one of these Laws and rule changes by the ATF are to restrict the number of firearms. They are playing the long game.. Think of it as a faucet, if you are not allowed to just shut it off, but turn the water to just a trickle you are effectively eliminating the citizens right to obtain a firearm. Another point, if the government (New York State for example) passes a law restricting magazine capacity to 7 rounds and that is later deemed arbitrary and is stricken down by the courts some people still BELIEVE it is the law and comply. 28 years in law enforcement and I still have to explain how laws are "on the books" but are NOT enforceable and why...

Rights are based on equality. If someone else is allowed to protect themselves with fully auto means why can we not?

So we can give the enemy, (the Taliban) full auto machine guns, armored vehicles, explosives, etc! But us peasants can't have a dam pistol to protect what we love?

The way things are going, the government should want more civilians to have firearms than ever....

Another scary connotation this bill caries with it, and I am writing this early so forgive me if it is actually covered in the video, but you average gun shop does not sell NFA items. So this bill would force those stores to follow the stricter dealer requirements that NFA items bring with them or close down. So as much as this bill sucks for the average person, it could result in your favorite little mom and pop gun shop to close their doors because they cannot afford to mess with the hassles that an NFA dealer has to deal with.

Dopey Chipman still thinks an AR15 is what the military uses. Calling something a “Weapon of War” doesn’t make it so.
