Using range and distance, you dominate enemy units with powerful shots and amazing stopping power. The ability to assist allies from afar can help keep you safe while steering the team to victory.
New or long time player, this overview is from my perspective, experience with some feedback from other players. I hope it can help you.
Ballistic weapons - Doesn't over heart but will have to reload. Easy to stagger with cannon base weapons. Snipers such as the GM Sniper II is more accurate and requires more pinpoint aiming but deals massive damage quickly.
Beam weapons - Hard hitting shots that can pierce and stagger enemies. The damage output is outstanding when landing a focused fire shot. You usually cannot move while focusing a charged shot.
Aim for the enemy's legs or head!
Always move for enemy support strikes, especially when you are camping in an area. Utilize staggers and distance to take out your enemies and assist your allies. Patience is your best friend.
