This reminds me of the Ending credits of season 2 of Gundam 00, where the four Gundams have been abandoned, their purpose fulfilled. War has been eliminated and Peace has been achieved.
@@consensus889 no one ever said it wouldn't have a quickly thrown together fix so it could fight a couple battles before getting an overhaul and becoming the iconic Gundam of its respective series
He would have to rebuild it and GET THE RIGHT PARTS CAUSE THE ORIGINAL RX-78-2 DOESN'T WORK WITH PARTS FROM THE MOBILE SUIT UNICORN THATS LIKE DECADES FROM THE FUTURE.
Such melancholy in that scene, further accentuated by the masterful paintjob and attention to detail. I adore this and rue that i do not have one of my own.
Well to be fair, I don’t think that the 3D printer version is posable. And you don’t get the sense of satisfaction of building it too. But on the bright side, if you 3D print a gunpla, a piece of your soul doesn’t need to die everytime you purposely destroy it in order to make something like this.
@@wicanyoucan9589 IT is. Its an Sli 3d print using a transparent rose colored resin. The actual gunplay models have connectors for heads/arms/legs..etc this has no connectors or stubs where the connectors "used to be." implying that it is a kit with no means to connect the parts OR its a kit that was manufactured via 3d printing with the goal of using glue to connect parts.
I was so thrown off, I thought it was weird how they paired the RX-78-2 with the Unicorn's shield. Only now do I realise in closer inspection it was the Unicorn the whole time, just painted like the RX-78-2. Kudos to you, I was bamboozled.
RIGHT!? I thought the same thing until he started painting the mobile suit's legs. That transformation sequence for the Unicorn/Banshee/Phenex is too iconic to not recognize afterward. XD
How on earth do you keep your workarea and brushes so immaculately clean??? Awesome video, love the attention to detail and cinematography/showmanship/production values!
This was very soothing and relaxing to watch for some reason. I've always wanted to get into building stuff like this but I don't really have the space or time to do so.
Gundam Build Fighters and its spin-off shows featured dozens of mobile suits painted to look like suits from outside their specific show canon. So cross-series paintjobs should be accepted since even Sunrise does it.
Your works are remarkable and magnificent, I am really saddened not to be able to acquire a copy (my budget does not allow it: /), you are real artists, sometimes draftsman, sculptor, painter ..., you are real passionate. I would love to have the same talent as you. I showed my wife a video, she's a fan, so she watches 1 video a day from your channel :) Continue to make us dream and travel like this, thank you to you and never stopped amazed us.
@@Chilling-Ivann you didn't get the joke? And for me, the color isn't wrong. It just reflects the most famous Gundam. It's like naming an aircraft carrier like the famous predecessor (Examp. USS Enterprise)
Hellyeah, GUNDAM. One thing, use a white primer or white base ,it makes painting much quicker and use less material used as a base color. And try to use your airbrush more than a paint brush. Airbrush can do a whole lot more. Nice Work.
Hello!!!!!! I’m Japanese!!Suddenly recommended video by RU-vid!but l feel that l see happy this video!!👍 (I weak English therefore this comment may mistake. I’m sorry 😭😭)
I usually play youtube in the background as i do stuff on my other screen, but i couldn't look away and just ended up watching this and ignoring my game. great work!
All your work is really wonderful, I'm amazed by the way you do it :) Everything is looking so simple even though I'm sure it's years of practice Keep up with the wonderful work, I'm a huge fan
They spent hours on this piece and all people can talk about is that the colors are wrong. This takes a lot of skill to make something like this and is beautiful regardless of the colors. This is an amazing piece of art and they did a great job coloring it. The way they colord it took a lot of precision to not get color on another piece where it's not meant to be. Absoluetly stunning, keep up the amazing work! You truly deserve way more than 80k subs but congratulations on getting there!
So your making it look like everybody forgotten about him and made him look rusty. Like it’s been there for 5 year’s. I like it good job Edit:or it got in to fight and he never got repaired
Everyone: THE COLORS ARE WRONG!!! REEEEE!!! Me: I'm just here cause I saw the thumbnail and can't get my hands on any gunpla kit. Edit: to any hardcore fan who hasn't seen the submissions for gunpla build competitions, go and look at previous years look at them and have a heart attack. This custom build is a great contender for a submission piece when the build competitions are open again.
By the thumbnail I thought it was a fully custom gunpla in a dio but holysheet, it's 3D print/resin casted. And to the people getting "triggered" regarding the Unicorn having RX-78-2 colors, this isn't the first time that has been done lol. There are full blown custom HG/MG Unicorn kits with colors like this out there, some looked good and some not. The only thing that looked really off about the model is that the butt flaps are in the wrong position. That print/casting is really good tho. Loved the dio as well.
