The fifteen points written out, for those who can't watch the vid:
#1 - Recommended suits: Nu (500), Sinanju (500), Freedom (400), GP-03 (400), Mk-II ver AEUG (300), Blitz (300)
#2 - Avoid 200 cost suits. It's not a beginner friendly cost
#3 - We recommend Kimaris Trooper. Easy to use, great in any close or midrange situation.
#4 - Blaze Gear is generally the superior Burst type unless your suit's melee is unorthodox (Zeong, etc). Much more beginner friendly as well.
#5 - Learn to Boost Dash: Tap the Jump button twice while pointing in a direction. Boost Dash let's you freely cancel out of most attacks and lets you string attacks together.
#6 - Your basic combo is three Beam Rifles connected by Boost Dashes. BR, boost dash, BR, boost dash, BR.
#7 - Learn to Boost Hop: Boost Dash, then return to neutral, then press Jump again. Use this as your main defensive / neutral movement.
#8 - Avoid spending too much boost. Never overheat. Land often.
#9 - To make your landings more safe, input sidestep and Boost Dive
#10 - Only shoot in Red Lock. Green lock attacks don't track.
#11 - Try to burst at 50% meter. Anything between 50% and 99% burst is the same basic power-up, so more than 50 is a waste (the extra time duration is negligible)
#12 - Don't waste Strikers - use them up before bursting or dying, since they refill on Burst/Death.
#13 - The higher cost suit should die first to avoid severe overcost penalties.
#14 - Escape from enemy melee attacks by holding the Jump button to ascend upwards.
#15 - How to practice as a fresh beginner: Use Free play vs CPUs set to STOP. Practice basic movement etc. Then enable AI and fight them to you are comfortable enough for matches vs humans.
