I like the stake of Elan winning he gets aerial because it allows your mind to think he could win When stakes are she gets kicked out there's no way she can lose but so long as shes in the school she could have another chance to get aerial back or even get a new suit Obviously she will win but i like that the show understands never make stakes too high in a duel

So, I went back to episode zero's reaction & now I'm all caught up. Lee, you & director are interpreting the show correctly so far. Elan thought Suletta was a modified human like him, and could just take the the Gundam kick back. However, when he got in Ariel, he realized that there was no kick back at all, even though it was indeed the Gund system, and thus there was no need for Suletta to be modified like him. So, that made him salty. Lmfao.
