In this episode of Percy’s Progress I head up to Tarncrag Gundogs in Cumbria to introduce Percy to the excitement of a rabbit pen. This training exercise has two elements, the first is steadiness to game...and as regular viewers will know young Percy does love a chase and he doesn’t disappoint ! The second is to get him on some “hot scent” in a controlled environment and this will encourage him to get his nose down. It never fails to amaze me how quickly these little dogs learn....
