What a life! So inspiring. And such a story of perseverance, self-belief, grit, determination... who knew such a person behind the flash we saw on the TV screen saying someone named Guneet Monga won an Oscars! Thank you Neelesh for bringing her story out. Also, of all her films, I didn't know her role behind Dasvidaniya. Thats one film, I can tell you, anyone goes into the theater, and comes out of the theater being a diff person. And I am not saying about just emotional. It changes you as a person. Wow!!

I still remember I saw Guneet in a Ad where she was playing herself I got so interested to know about this very unique personality. Then Period and Elephant wisheper thing Happened was so proud of her . But knowing that my most fav films like Paglait , Lunch Box , Massan etc she and her Team made possible , it’s so warm to know . I think ye har Ghar ki story hai. Mai jab apne Village me rehti thi bachpan me. Meri bua dadighar me rehti thi apne 3 bachho ke sath because unke village me school acha nahi tha. Meri dadi and meri bua, meri mummy ko bolte the ki ye hame pese kama ke deti hai kya. Aur mujhe bolte the ki uske bachho(cousin brother) ke samne cross leg kr k nahi bethna, unka jab pet bhar ke khana ho jata tha to bacha hua mujhe milta tha. I have seen how bahu's have to go through with saas and nanad ke taane all the time. Silly silly baaton pe big big fights. I don't want to go back into that era.. Independence is the best thing for a woman. 😊

There's one incident jbb me bahut pareshan hokar papa ko keh Diya tha ki me apni life me Bahot pese kamaungi jisse me apni mmi ko asi jindagi se nikal lungi , and then he say kya kregi tu kotha chlayegi kya ....wese bhi tu meri aulad nhi h ,, Jis age par mujhe meaning hi nhi maloom tha iska To asi kyii chije h and then they all said ki isko respect Krna nhi aata .. q .. kese kru me respect tum sbbne mujhe life Time trauma Diya h ...now That's why I'm an artist and creat and also copy some of beautiful artworks,, my mmi is govt employee,,, haa abhi tkk pragti nhi mili h but I'm on my way,, My strength my boldest mmi with me ... I'm a Bollywood fan, I stay back to watch complete credits to see the people who worked behind the camera for the film. But was not aware that Guneet was behind Monsoon shootout. It's one of the underrated Bollywood gem, and Pal song from Arijit is truly a highlight. Thank you for coming on this show.
