This is very informative. As you were suggesting, govt should do more productuon ,training and export ammunition. and should train/support private industries for more production.

Sir ek baat btao, indian civilans assault weapons nhi rakh sakta as a law, wo ek pistol ya hunting rifles rakh sakta with legally 25 bullets. Koi eske bare mein kyu nhi sochta. Ham foreign countries ko dekh sakte hai sabhi assault weapons rakh sakte hain lekin indian goverment kyu nhi socti eske bare mein. Agar bhagwaan na kre kyi baar yudh mein haar jeet fa faisla hota hai to indian civilans kaise fight back krega??

For preparedness, you have to get things ready but it also needs to be destroyed (due to limited shelf life). Does it mean that wars and conflicts need be invented to make use of ammunition (beyond training needs) ?

Does precision matter in high intensity warfare? To elaborate, I'd assume we would be consuming a lot of shells to provide cover fire - Kargil comes to mind. In high intensity warfare you would still have a large number of targets. Israel ammo consumption is still high despite their advances in precision.

Sir, could you also cover the relative differences between different types of explosives.... i read part of US supply chain issues for 155mm stemmed from moving to new explosives vis a vis TNT and fillers like RDX...in this context, can we not uses our latest explosive advancement in india? sebex 2? I believe it has the worlds best tnt equivalency of 2.3... is it stable enough to be used in shells. Wouldnt that be fearsome shell to be fielded? Also what about guided munitions....

@@gunnersshot well sir.... the news about US supply chain issues was from a serious publication who I do hope did enough research before publication. They quoted sources from US army, and their logistics and manufacturing groups. Sebex 2 was just my random thought....

Ammunition disposal is a global need ? cam it be used for making fire crackers, which can be used for frequent celebrations ? Early target of wars should be ammunition dumps (that's what Israel did to Houthis) ?
