My custom MG Barbatos build is finally complete! Come and see how it turned out - I'm super happy with it! This has been a long one.. many ups & downs. Glad it is finished, but sad to see it go. Thank you so much for watching.

@@Miniaturite My issue with auctioning/commission pieces is you never really get the money you deserve for your time and your investment in materials. I live in Japan, so kits and paint are a bit cheaper. Anyone who actually customizes kits will tell you, it's not a cheap hobby no matter where you live. 3000 yen for the kit, 7-900 yen more in paint, 7-900 yen for decals, and then add up all the man hours you spent building it... Even "enthusiasts" are only willing to pay so much..

@miniaturite, can i ask how simple it is to take apart the inner frames? cuz i can understand the armor being removable, but the inner frame just seems so permanent...

It's not too difficult if you follow the manual in reverse. Although, there's no real reason to take the inner frame apart once it's complete. Just gotta be super gentle.

Chris is that a silcon tip brush your useing to apply the liqud mask?

It is, yea. Regular brushes get very easily destroyed by the liquid mask- even if you are careful to keep them clean. The silicon brushes are perfect for this

@@Miniaturite i know that iv used it with a normal brush but was able to clean it off thanks to brush magic. XD thoe i think ill pick soem silcon brush for the mask all i use granted i hatze Humbrol any thing really so ill need to replace that to XD

Awesome video! Does the lighter fluid for panel line cleanup remove any of the painted undercoat? I use Mr hobby lacquers and I am looking for a good panel line clean up that doesn’t eat my base coat. I tried testers enamel thinner to clean up my Tamiya wash and it eat through my Mr color lacquer undercoat (cured). Thanks!

Thanks! Lighter fluid will be fine in moderation - just don't soak the parts 😄 cleaning the excess panel line marks ASAP also helps. The longer it dries, the more scrubbing it needs. I'd also recommend cotton buds (used in my MGEX video). Enamel thinner takes longer to evaporate than lighter fluid, so it has more time to eat the surface or paint.
