@@onafetsonitnerros i was never a fan of Nirvana. I had an older cus. Who started a band around the time nirvana came out and they practiced in my dads band room. They overplayed nirvana! Drove me nutts!
I saw GnR in 86 @ Donnington I am Metallica and Motörhead but they kicked Ass Axl in his prime Faultless. That was a long time ago so think he’s doing Ok. Glastonbury audio mic was messed up.
@@tonymaddison6579 I was in thre Glasto crowd and they absolutely smashed it. Sounded great in the field but I heard people had complaints on TV. Knocking on Heaven's Door he absolutely knocks out the park every single time eve with his lower voice. Makes it sound a bit smoother acutally and suits the song.
Best gig of my life waited 31 years to be able to get the chance to see them and was worth the 3 and half year wait from buying tickets thanks to covid but Axl sounded amazing ❤ Seeing them was on my bucket list now ticked off ❤
Great footage!! I was there front row i waited in the queue from half 10 best gig ever still watching videos on repeat still cant believe i finally seen them 😱
Thank you for sharing! Great job. GnR fan here from the 90s! Axl is still a legend, yeah his voice's changed but wow he's still here! Slash too despite the crazy lifestyle & they have touched millions of lives 🤟 i hope to see Slash & conspirators in 2024 in 🇬🇧 fingers crossed 🤞
Thanks for posting this. Amazing! and Slash solos on point as per. Axl in lower register still gets me. Argh wish I could be there again like back at Wembley '91.. Hoping someone will post from Hyde Park tomorrow too!
honestly I think a lot of people are commenting on the fact that his voice is now so smooth or are used to have that buzz saw edge to it that was so iconic so perfect so absolutely definitive of rock 'n' roll it's gone he's ground the edge off of it but he did it to all of our great enjoyment so yeah those people can fuck off the fact of the matter is it sounds like he's had a vocal cord stripping probably develop nodules and when you do that it is what it is. We'd be listening to records if it wasn't for Axl and slash patching things up so whatever the critics can suck it
I think me and my partner were to left of yous slightly in the crowd as the videos I’ve took have the same shots (almost). I had a zebra print shirt on 🤘🏾 first time seeing them live and wow 😍 absolutely unbelievable ❤️hope you had just as much as a good time as we did x
I loved the night, the crowd was impressively large and the band were fantastic. Well worth the many cancellations over the last 3 years to finally see them. I think you were possibly 4 or 5 people along to my right, someone matching your description in another clip that I didn’t use of the crowd.
I believe Axl has had coaching on how to sing properly over the recent years, so he has been able to regain some of his range However, years of signing ‘incorrectly’ have damaged his throat / vocal chords. Axl used to sing with a massive amount of what is know as ‘vocal fry’. (Look it up, very interesting). So he kinda burnt his voice out more than necessary all those early years and is paying for it now
So far its not sounding good, jungle was rough because Axl sounded so our if breath. Its food to head axl use his deeper voice on paets if estranged but he wnded up back to that other voice again
You all lucky to get to see the show. When I seen them or thought we were going to see them at Mile High Stadium in Denver CO...it turned out to be the BIGGEST WASTE of TIME & $! Use to be my favorite band...gave them up for Metallica who rocked the show. The Denver show was saved by them! Guns & Roses Rocks but Axl acted like a 2 year old baby and left the stage instead of pulling up his Big Boy Britches and give us what we wanted! Let alone Body Count was there too...even though they suck...they were better than Axl! It was so lousy that people cheered on Slash...but even Slash got fed up after being left alone on stage for too long. They tried to come back out again...and folks were so pissed off they started to leave the stadium in a BIG BOO'ing fest!
Great footage, granted. Strings great apart from RF, doesn’t belong, as for the drummer, 😂 and the vocals ok in places but the majority is shite that’s why it’s edited that way. Axl is just embarrassing himself.
I would like to see the people who complain about slash and Axl get up there and attempt to even try to do what this amazing band does. They have entertained us for most of there lives be GRATEFUL guys.
Haha do you understand what ‘selling out’ means? Well, to be fair they do “sell out” every show they play. Lol But for real, they are the opposite of selling out. They are the same guys they have always been, done things their way, their music is timeless, and they haven’t made any new music in forever. So how exactly have they “sold out”?
@@Day-ZDuke If you watched the show the was just like motley crew no inter action with each other sold out in my eyes but if you're foolish enough to keep paying to see them good on you, I saw them in the golden years when they was good
@@davidgomm6043 okay, I get where you’re coming from...but you gotta realize man, think how many times they have played these songs over the years and performed. Plus their age. You can’t expect them to be as good as they once were I didn’t see this show live, and actually I passed on seeing them in Toronto this September coming up, the tickets are just too pricey for what seats are left. It’s like $200 for way up in the nose bleed sections. I just don’t think it’s worth it But, I am 44, and I fortunately did see them play live once, in 1992 at the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) Stadium. I was just going into 9th grade that year, it was easily one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen
Somewhat my sentiments ,I saw them in 91 and blessed for it , They hate each others fkn guts and vowed never to do it again but the greed got the better of them ....As far as the show looks like a fkn golf crowd 🤣🤣 and it's a weaker lesser product for more money ,no not inflation just inflated bank accounts to make up for the royalties drying up . If it's all you can get I guess you take it as a spectator but I vowed never to watch them live again price wise and tribute band wise .I would never top what I witnessed in 91 .
