Man the last part from this song is so fkn amazing...the guitar is bursting feeling all over the place and you did it justice. How someone was able to compose this masterpiece is something that puzzles me
This part: "I know it looks like I'm insane Take a closer look I'm not to blame Yeah hummmmmm yeahh If love is blind I guess I'll buy myself a cane Love's so strange" I always listen this music waiting for this moment!!!!!!
Legendary - I can’t begin to explain just how difficult this is and just how easy you make this look. Even once you have mastered the fingering, which is a complete tongue twister for the hands, keeping the timing consistent throughout the song which is sooo long is such an achievement. Awesome playing dude.
You did an excellent job dude! It's quite impressive Slash's talent. This song is just another example that shows how good Slash conducts the electric guitar. SLASH IS GOD!
Fantastic cover. Note for note perfection. Slash is my all time guitar idol and was the reason why I picked up a guitar as a kid in the first place. Well done 🤟🏻
@@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons I will never forget when I dad first played the Appetite for Destruction cassette in his car and hearing it for the first time just blew me away. I’ve been playing guitar for nearly 30 years and used to teach guitar and was in a band but lost my love with the guitar a few years ago when I was ill but really in the mood now to just pick it up again and start playing again. Thank you for the videos. 🙏🏻
@@leemason666 You're welcome and I hear ya man. I will never forget hearing Guns N' Roses for the first time when I was a kid and being like "Wow, songs with curse words, this is so cool and my mom and dad will hate it." And spending hours upon hours trying to figure out Slash's solos because they all just slurred so much and I wanted my playing to slur like that also. Because it sounded so badass and cool. Anyways, glad I can relate with the GN'R connection. Hope you're over your illness. Keep playing man. It's good for the soul.
@@Mr.Tabs.Guitar.Lessons thank you so much. I’m doing great now. I was diagnosed with severe depression back in 2015 and lost interest in all of my hobbies but managed to beat it and never been happier. Everyone keeps telling me to pick my guitar back up so your video could not have come at a better time. 😀
@@leemason666 Hey man. Glad to hear you got over your depression. And as for the videos helping you, that strikes a soft spot. I will remember your story, Lee. Thanks for sharing.
Great cover man as always. Please consider doing for the future: • Double Talkin' Jive live in Tokyo; and • The Godfather theme live in Tokyo As there aren't any covers with tabs for these two versions on the Internet. Greetings from Venezuela. And keep rocking man! 😎🤘
Almost there, that picking pattern in the verses is very hard to get! For me at least. But I never thought I would be playing what I am playing now. I love it that after 30 plus years of playing I just keep on improving
excellent ... it's really good that you show us songs that are not the ones we could easily find. I would really like : coma, Rocket Queen, dust n bones, you aint the first, pretty tied up, Ain`t fun. thank you very very much
Is anyone able to let me know the picking pattern for the main riff please? I know that that's the secret to mastering this....and I've been trying for nearly 30 years!
the rhytm is the key, once you figure it (takes a damn long time considering its basicaly 3 tones), sort the fingers and youre good to go! Thanks for this lesson, really great lesson even for somewhat experienced and progressive players
Nice! I'm so happy to see this, not just because you did an amazing job, but because the timing of the chorus is right (I guess you used program drums which helps). In the original, the chorus is rushed and out of time and it drives me NUTS.
I don’t know if anyone reads these- but I could use a little help. Slash, to me, is random and all over the place when I look at the tab. How do you memorize this? Is it purely just repetition and small bites? The intro especially. I’m 46 and wanted to learn this song as it got me hooked into GNR back in the early 90s. I’ve been playing since 2001…. So I’d really like to accomplish this one
Hey MontyWoo64, thanks for subscribing and joining my Patreon page. The support is much appreciated! Hope you have fun with the tabs/backing tracks etc. I have many plans in store for the page!
Great playing 👏👏 it’s the hardest gnr song, and really difficult to get the alternate picking down on the riff, it’s actually a great picking exercise. Thank you for sharing your expert playing to teach others including myself 👍 Can you just tell me if you are strictly alternate picking the main riff ?
