I can really appreciate and understand why this boxset carries the price tag it does. There is not a more epic boxset in all of music than this set. No shot. This thing is king!!!

Back then was just a kid and couldn’t afford it and doubt that my parents would buy, and now that I’m living with my mother and no father, no way I’d buy it. I did buy the Super Deluxe version, with the Leather box and poster and tattoos etc. Got while on sale at half price (plus taxes and shipping but whatever). Even got free stickers so thanks to whoever put them in the box for me.

Cool box. But some of the items arent very good. I'd still like to have it. But the price is just too gatdamn high

Would have loved this set - too expensive for what it is though so I went for the next one down.... I still have all their Vinyl albums, 12" singles and some 7" singles as well as on CD too. I also have Shadow of your Love as a B-side. I am disappointed that One in a Million wasn't included - I know it was 'controversial' but it was still an important song of theirs so I will still listen to the 'original' Lies album in preference

I think every band that releases a box set of this nature should do an informative video just like this one, wonderfully detail descriptions and background of the pieces chosen to include. Interestingly enough he has omitted the secret in the box set, happy hunting if you haven't already found it.

One day, I will own this Treasure! I did fly overseas for a weekend to specially go and watch them. Let's say, it was my little taste of a Rock 'N Roll weekend in Dubai. Saved 10 years to do this. To think these guys lived that lifestyle 24/7 what a life and I guess it's not so easy.

I just bought it for $849 Canadian. They just started a promo so not only did they drop the price which its been $849 Canadian for a while they’re actually throwing in a free turntable valued at $750 but there is only 100 of these turntables available worldwide. They say the value of the turntable is $750 but I checked the website and it is $750 don’t know if they made it in a cheaper version but I can’t see that and also because they’re only giving away 100 of these worldwide it’s probably worth 750 for the turntable. I had to buy it! So happy

Whether it's worth $999 is up to each fan.....for me, having pre-ordered it on Day One, it's something I could not pass up. Just the outer box alone with the handmade cross makes me feel like this is something truly extraordinary.

This box is totally worth 1k. I mean, album remastered in vinyl, plus digital, plus singles!!! Plus picks, rings, pins; and add to that the imagery, pictures, flyers, drawings, illustrations, etc. And unreleased tracks on vinyl and remastered bluray videos! I don't get people saying it's too expensive.

Nice review, I'm actually about to change my mind and grab this box set, I still consider this is over-priced, but I saw some things are way cooler than what they showed us on the first 3D promo video.

not sure about the lithographs of the songs. i think they are all in the same order as they are on the record. so the first one in the roses envelope should be my michelle. the second one Think About you which was written by izzy, and he is the one who is in the left corner of the second Lithograph. Where as the burning money on the first Lith of the 2nd envelope fits to the My Michelle story....
