Saw these guys at the Marquee London 1986, and they were smoking, just fuckin great. I know they're a lot older etc and I'd love them to be great. Unfortunately that's not happening. Actually I was wrong on one song, they do a great Witchita Lineman, which shows Axls vocals are outstanding when he's just singing, not rockin'.
He is always doing it. I remember him saying: I don't want to stand there like a stupid shit waiting for the solo to end, so I leave the stage, drinking something or changing outfit.
@@yourfriendlyneighbourhoods8202I know he also did it when he was young, there is a picture of him (about 30 years old) with oxygen mask. So I think it's more about helping him with the screams and all then a pulmonary disease.
