@@trqster He definitely dabbled in hard drugs (including heroin) in the early yeas of the band, including heroin, but he never developed a serious addiction.
When Slash and Duff first rejoined GN’R in 2016-17’ I was fortunate to have been at the huge Dodgers stadium show in Los Angeles, Steven actually played the drums for two songs. It was really cool, I’m not sure if I still have video of it. I think he played Civil War and Mr Brownstone.
@@xxr3c0nxusaxx Hey bro just curious why in the hell do you think they don't hire Steven back, I would say Izzy also but I read somewhere Izzy don't wanna play. But Steven should be up there. ✌️
@@CaptainCreamStain-xx6wt Steven couldnt handle 3 hour performances according to some people, and Axl really likes Frank. Axl said Izzy was in, but then was out, he called it a 'very confusing situation'. Izzy said it was bs, he said money wasnt going to be equal... Anyways, it would've been awesome.
@@chadhenderson5514who cares what Steven is doing right now? You're knocking a guy that played drums on Appetite. There's plenty of times Stevens band has sounded better than this version of GnR. I know it's not the same. These guys are each making a million dollars after a couple of shows... Steven should be included in some way.
Read the comments below. What Izzy excels at is leaving the band in the middle of tours. That's why. And Frank is in really good shape and dependable. It is a business and as a business, you need employees who show up and do the job.
I’ve something to say about this song. It’s fun to hear and fun to play too as a guitarist. Love this live performance and for me, Axl did a great job and nailed it. Props to Gn fn R! I love this band. Ps. Bring back Steven Adler
I keep giving axl a chance but it's just not there anymore. i will not pay money to see him live anymore unless izzy and steve are there...and that wouldt then be the last time i see them live. i'm so thankful for the old live shows that are floating around on youtube.
Caramba, faz tempo que não via performance mais recentes do Guns. Tá triste a coisa!
@@trqster there’s many 61 year olds who sing wayyyy better and you think 61 is old or something? I know 90yr olds who run marathons. My god how old is Ozzy and he sounds much better compared to axl
@@SmokeWithMeInCT Totally different vocal styles and voices to begin with, can't compare apples with oranages. Compare Axl to singers like Jon Bon Jovi or Vince Neil for example. And YES 61 is old for your vocal chords in most humans, they simply cannot hold the same tones and endurance as before.
@@trqster correct different but doesn’t change the fact axl needs to hang up the mic. He sounds like Mickey mouse at this point .. but let’s not pretend there aren’t peers of axl still doing it and sound good still . Regaurdless of style singing is singing and axl just sounds awful
I seen GnR four times. In the early 90's they sounded so great!!! I actually met Slash at the Rainbow on Sunset Blvd and had some Jack Daniels with him!!! Cool dude!!!!
@@xxr3c0nxusaxx I'm glad the band is cool about you recording them. When I saw the Stones about 20 years ago the security scanned you with metal detector wands so you couldn't bring anything to record the band.
When the drummer plays the beat so slow it kills the song for all the band. It’s harder to sing. It feels less exciting to play and so you’re more likely to get lost. I’ve never seen it this slow. Compare to this. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m8jeoo5qBFE.htmlsi=QEwqqD_3BzcKiGqV. and it’s not age. Slash plays it with the conspirators really fast he wails during the solos.
All our favorite legacy rock band singers are getting older. Axl still puts on a great show, when you’re in the audience he sounds like Axl - on video it’s different. He can still scream and hit those high notes and still has great stage presence too.
it's not about the video, he is sounding as I described when he sings in the higher register. There are plenty of older singers who still sound incredible, eg Robert Plant and Paul Rodgers and they're nearly 80. There is no way Axl could sing now like he did on the ACDC tour@@xxr3c0nxusaxx
Dio in ‘80, Heaven and Hell tour….. I do not think the original intent was Satanic, but who knows. It started during a Black Sabbath tour 43 years ago so I am not surprised to see it here…. Satanic or not!
Axel is gonna die on stage, stop running around on stage bro! Save your oxygen for singing, you're not in your 20's anymore and everyone knows this so you gotta slow it down.
