My mom passed away the same day this video was released,this new 2022 version, and it's been a month today. So for you mom you need your time, you fought hard, and you got to say goodbye. We will hopefully see you on the other side.

Why am I not surprised at the fact that Steven Wilson helped mix this track? This version of the classic track is simply sublime! The drums are so clean and punchy, Slash’s lead guitars sound so crispy, the choir and orchestra are ever present and Axl’s vocals hit as heavy as ever! This song is truly a masterpiece, one of the best songs ever to be composed. I´m just 16 but my dad raised me with GnR and the´ve been my favourite band since I can remember. This song in particular stands out to me because there´s not one single wrong note or word in this song, it´s just 100% perfection, from the quiter flutes and violines to the massive orchester, Axl´s Piano, Slash`s solos etc etc everything just fits perfectly.

Mi padre tenía cáncer y solía escuchar esta canción en las quimioterapias y me decía que si el moría que me fumará sus cenizas en un concierto de los Guns N' Roses, y hace más o menos un mes vinieron a Bogotá y cumplí su palabra, fue hermoso, y se me apareció el ángel Gabriel y me saludó y se fue.
Un poco basado el hombre pero siempre hay que cumplir ese tipo de promesas, con un amigo hicimos la promesa de ir a un concierto, el no pudo porque falleció hace algunos años , yo hice de todo para conseguir algo de la banda y hacerle un homenaje póstumo , conseguí autógrafos, fotos, conocí a Del James, Melissa, vi a Duff, Fortus, Slash a escasos metros y sobre todo quedó la experiencia de la gente bonita que conocí en esos días de aguante en el hotel, conocí gente de Perú y hasta había una chica japonesa que creo que fue de las pocas que consiguió el autógrafo de Slash

Del minuto 6 :53 al 7 : 03, fue una de las melodías más hermosas que he escuchado en mi vida. The orchestral bit remastered and rerecorded has put so so much life in the song. There's so much air and detail in the orchestration that I never noticed before. Let alone the crisper drums and beautiful arrangement. Thank you Steven. Great for the fans but an audiophile's wet dream.
@@nazwah4 Absolutely. He used to be the only one to master his studio albums in 5.1 and perhaps the only one to remaster previous studio content in 5.1 and now Dolby. Quite crazy, given he isn't a sound engineer by profession. Some previous remasters received rave reviews from the artists (Robert Fripp).

Makes me sad that there's less appreciation for music today because it's all easily accessible for free. No payments or waiting required. That investment made people closer to the media they were buying because they had to invest into it so now its so easy to take it for granted :( Gonna go to every GnR concert I can when they perform in my tri-state area.
What November Rain is for Gun N’ Roses is Bohemian Rhapsody for Queen. Both are legendary masterpieces and will never be matched! I am just so lucky I have seen both live once.

Guns N' Roses were the quintessential rock band and most iconic of all time. Anyone who lived through the 90s when they were at their height got to see the most prolific rockstars ever. That was a hell of a time to be a teenager. Not since the Beatles has a rock band skyrocketed to fame so quickly. But they were burning the candle at both ends 24/7. Not sure we will see a band like them ever again.
By the time Guns started working on the Illusion albums, they were already one of the biggest bands on the planet, so Rose was extremely meticulous during the recording process. What many also don't realize is that he composed "November Rain" entirely on his own, and created the orchestral sounds and string arrangements on a synthesizer. The video shows scenes of them playing it with an orchestra, and they have performed it live with one before, but the 1991 studio version was all Rose in the studio. November Rain was re-released in 2022. The updated version of the track features the same performance by the band, but the orchestration has been re-recorded with a 50-piece orchestra, conducted and arranged in 2021 by Grammy award-winning composer Christopher Lennertz, which replaces the original synthesized orchestration done by Rose.
Axl Rose is in my opinion, the greatest musical genius of our time. I believe his abilities that you can explain better than me puts him just over Freddie Mercury. I can only describe his voice as having the ability to change as much and as quickly as changing fonts on Microsoft Word. There are just no words for the talent in that one man, let alone the group as a whole. They are just unmatched on every level. How lucky we are to be witnesses to it.

Yeah, the repeated riff in the solo that closes out the song is one of the absolute best in rock history, IMHO. And the chord progression that underlies it is super-cool, and elevates that already-awesome riff to a whole other level!

[Usen audífonos para notar todo con detalle] Empezamos con el sonido en general, es más fuerte, cosa que ocurre en un proceso llamado "masterización" Puedes comprobarlo mirando el loudness de esta versión, lo que al comienzo notas que los agudos se sienten más. 1:01 Aquí notas fuerte la reverberación de la batería. 1:04 Notaras aquí que los violines tienen una nota extra que en la otra versión no estuvo presente. 1:16 Nueva sección de violines. 2:03 Hay un error muy puntual y rápido en el sonido que ocurría en esta parte, para esta versión la han corregido. A mi entender, todos esos detalles q resaltas como nuevos ya estaban grabados, solo que ahora están mezclados de una mejor manera, diferentes tecnologías de los 90s a hoy hacen posible resaltar más la cantidad de instrumentos y arreglos que están en este tema, dudo mucho que hayan grabado algo nuevo. Pero si hicieron un gran trabajo de mezcla, la verdad q este tema merecía estar mezclado así!

Incredible song when it was released. I don’t know how it could have been improved for the 2022 version but they did the impossible and achieved it. Timeless music by one of the best bands ever

By the time Guns started working on the Illusion albums, they were already one of the biggest bands on the planet, so Rose was extremely meticulous during the recording process. What many also don't realize is that he composed "November Rain" entirely on his own, and created the orchestral sounds and string arrangements on a synthesizer. The video shows scenes of them playing it with an orchestra, and they have performed it live with one before, but the 1991 studio version was all Rose in the studio. November Rain was re-released in 2022. The updated version of the track features the same performance by the band, but the orchestration has been re-recorded with a 50-piece orchestra, conducted and arranged in 2021 by Grammy award-winning composer Christopher Lennertz, which replaces the original synthesized orchestration done by Rose.
