The opening of this song is my favorite opening of any GNR song.. just raw, pure, powerful guitars and amps.. no fancy filters or overkill distortion. But the way that 2nd guitar slides into that heavy sound.. gives me goosebumps. Perfect sound for that song with those lyrics

Dude, the intro ALWAYS pumps me up, no matter what! It's so filled with anger and raw agression, I think it's one of the best intos to any song ever! Together with the intro to You Could Be Mine!

you do SLASH better than SLASH. any GN'R tribute would be lucky to have you. their riffs are pretty easy but the leads are certainly not. GN'R were a truly great band even if they didn't always have a great attitude. i saw them twice in 89' and 91' and i was very disappointed both times. especially AXL what an arrogant douchebag. his vocals were extremely mediocre and he wouldn't shut up in between songs!
