I just love how much appreciation Chinese Democracy is receiving nowadays. It’s a wonderful album, and Prostitute is one of the most beautiful songs Axl has ever composed. My favorite GNR album and song.
This is the type of album that people dont fully appreciate until you see the entire hero`s arc. It is such an emotional album depicting the real struggle of a genius trapped in his own glass house.
This band has many of that. "The Garden", " Garden of Eden", "Don't Damn Me", "So Fine", "14 Years", "Breakdown", the whole Chinese Democracy criminally underrated (exept "This I Love" and "Better", maybe). It's a wonderful album that gives us many answers about a person named Axl Rose and his life around 1995-2000 years. I understand why it's underrated but for me Democracy real treasure.
@@mattiadei8402 well, I can understand that too but for me the whole discography of G N'R took special place in my heart. It's not about nostalgy, I don't even born when Appetite or Illusions came out. It's just great music, wonderful vocal and very interesting lyrics. And it's not some commercial shit, it's true piece of art.
I love how Axl just does not give a fuck. Hes really trying to hit thosw notes. He absolutely cannot anymore. Rough. But still an awesome spectacle. Its to see hes still alive after all this time. Much love gunslingers. ❤
@@devanworkman8745 Obviously. I'm sure most people who have experience doing vocals, know what can happen when you spend years not keeping up or improving your vocals. We all know he never practiced. Its not news. It works like that with every instrument. Difference is the voice isn't like drums or guitar. If you ruin or lose your voice, its gone. Axl abused his vocal chords his whole career and didn't really actually practice as well as smokes like crazy and drank and blah blah. A lot like James Hatfield before the black album. Accept James actually started training, and as much much as some people may not like his tonal style anymore, that's because 1 he blew his voice and what he had is permanently gone, and 2 his vocal style and projection changed drastically. But he is capable of much more range wise, and that is much more useful when writing music then just not training or even attempting to improve longterm. So ill bet even if axl still had an amazing voice after training for years people would still rip him a new one. I think its amazing that axl has the balls to do what he's doing, after everything and how he sounds. He's doing it for the fans that appreciate it, for the family he built with his band years ago, and for the money. Obviously. You can't really ruin Guns N Roses unless one of them turned out to be fucked in a horrible criminal way lol. No one is going to see GNR for the music anymore or musical prowess anymore. Its to watch their favorite middle aged action figures get along for the first time in 20 years. But thats okay. Because it truly is historical! Just enjoy. Point and laugh and think of the good times! Thats literally what they want you to do hahaha.
WOW, this is a very difficult yet lovely song and AXL is beautifully right on with his voice. Thanks for pushing our boundaries with this one! Exceptional!!
Best Gn'R concert in years !! I was really scared to death before, I really thought it would suck, that Axl would ruin the songs with his "new" voice. But on the contrary. He was EXCEPTIONNAL !! The MAN of the concert ! Always smiling, running all around, joking with the crowd. Best frontman ever ! The rest of the band was great too but Axl was a mile ahead easy :) Man ! I'm crying now cuz I have seen long lost friends last night and I don't know if I will see them again 😭
@@Robert-y8l9r because they're way better in this songs, no offense to Slash of course, but they just did it better, Bucket on the album and Ron on the shows where they played this before.
Well maybe when you age 40 years from now your voice might change you may not be able to move the way you used to back in the day at least he's up there trying
@@enriqueguevara5689Qué hablador!
