Not sure who thinks his voice is terrible but this mans iconic, he is history. His voice is like no other and there has never been another like him I don't think that there ever will be. He is an enigma a one-time thing it will not happen again. 🌹
What a passionate man, with his voice this damaged he managed to perform, and he did it with all the energy, this is pure emotion, passion, fervour and hard work. Axl Rose is a legend
For people whining about AxlS vocals here.. People don't understand how exhausting touring is when your songs are extremely hard to sing and you are the greatest band at that time. So you'll have shows scheduled everynight. But anyways bands try to give you the best. This is the problem people don't see people as people. When they do something outstanding they put them on skies and when they do fall sometimes they belittle them to dust ( failing is something all humans do if you don't know in case).

Rock music is about bringing raw energy on stage, not repeating the LP version of themselves. His vocal here is different but still great. Maybe he had a sore throat that night or something, but didn't want to postpone the homecoming gig.
I was at this concert at 25 yrs old now 45 and I have to say it was the best of the best and it is AXEL's homeland it rocked unlike any other!! I'm a true fan HONESTLY!

Wow! I was at this show. G-N-R took the stage about an hour late. Axl got into some dustup at the hotel was the reason, if I remember right. Classic GNR shenanigans back in the day. They played way past Indiana's outdoor concert curfew and got fined according to AXl. Great time to be alive and going to concerts!

@@painfulsecretmusic if you listen well enough to most of his songs you will see this slash does a lot of messing up. Even to the present he still messes up intros and outros especially if the untrained ear can hear this.
I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous!!!!!! I was only 11 :( Only a few years more and I could have experienced a GNR concert live. I went in 2006 - 2nd row seats and could almost touch Axl, but nothing beats experiencing the old Axl and the real band.

Yes but there are times when improv can mess the rest of the band up. He seems to do very well when he does this and does not seem to affect the rest of the band.
