Learn the song and see how they put it together, have fun playing along, abd use the song as a backing track/metronome for your own riffs and rhythms. Never play alone or just with a metronome.
Jimmy page said something similar to that with Stairway to Heaven. . Someone comment it's easy to play .Jimmy commented something along the line of try writing it
That’s absolute perfection. You should do another one showing Izzy’s part, because Izzy’s playing is so underrated. As a rhythm player, he is so much more than just a power chord guy. Some of his licks in this particular song are really tasty, and it’s a shame not to see them.

This is really helpful man thx. Haven't been playing guitar for very long and most songs I play have repeating chords/tabs in the song so they're a lot easier to learn. Slash... Well that's a very different story. Much more of a challenge for me.
So simple and yet so varied and musical. It mutates constantly and yet is 100% song format. Great composition by Slash, Izzy, Axl and Duff. Great transcripction

Hello Mr Tabs, I have been an on and off guitar player for about 20 years now , not really talented and probably with a lot of technical issues because I never took lessons and just began with tabs and trying myself. Since I have seen all your tabs I’ve had this major change in my playing , not that my technical abilities suddenly are there but the simple fact that I enjoy your tabs so much, that I cannot stop playing/practising them. Now I can almost play all the Guns N’ Roses tabs you have on your channel , some solo,s probably never gonna master but I enjoy it so much to keep on trying and improving. That’s thanks to your channel and awesome tabs , so nice to have those and keep practicing. I love how people think the alternative bands were the first to tune down. Look at this: Guns and Roses>Van Halen>Jimi Hendrix all tuned down. And Black Sabbath is known for down tuning. And if you look at this tab. It could easily be a Nirvana song. Nirvana uses the same technique. It is known.

Whether it's Slash's or Izzy's part really doesn't matter to me, this sounds great, spot on and this is what my lad will be using to learn this song as he is gonna be assessed at school on it and also play it at the end of term at a gig, he is the only guitarist so this is perfect....top job.
If you're still curious..... It has been 3 years lol. Though how you do that technique is you choke up on the pick a bit more than you normally would, you just hold more of it and when you pick the string this case 7th fret of the G, you pick and quickly skim over the string with your thumb like quickly at an angle. You don't mute it but skim over it lightly. Youll choke the string out a few times possibly but you'll know you got it when it does that signature squeal of rock/metal music when the guitar is playing.

the 155ms delay is slightly quicker than a 16th note delay which makes sense since you wouldn't want it to fall directly on the 16th note. Is this something you just figured out on your own or did you read this somewhere? Also, what level & decay setting do you recommend/use?
Jesus... I massively underestimated how hard that intro would be to play!!!? Lol For years I assumed it was just an easy bit of palm muted picking. First time I've actually tried to learn it and uhhh..... yeah, I won't be nailing that riff today.
