GnR gets a drummer as good as Adler; Izzy might come back. No point in jamming with axl n slash those dudes dont write good tunes. Its easier to just cash the checks than deal with lyric reading frontman and splash play corporate record label guitarists with bigtime connections and bankroll. Finding out GNR was just the rich stoner kids from Beverly Hills 90210 tv show with all the advantages ruined it for me.
Musically it's obviously a perfect fit. It's too bad Slash doesn't like Steven all that much personally. He's never really said or done too many kind things for Steven, which is interesting as they've known each other the longest (since they were kids). Duff & Izzy had a lot more love for Steven back in the day. Hell, even Axl has been there for Steven over the years more than Slash has.
The original line up should work together again in the new album.... They are all still alive and no one can replace what they are able to make as a band.

I would tell anyone that would l8sten that The Gunners were still playing and sounding great and i thought they would go around for another tour. I was so happy when they announced the tour and ive got awsome seats for the show 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I understand that they’d given him an ultimatum back in the day but it’s all these years later - they should tour the original lineup, it’s that simple.
There are better drummers than Adler in the world, but there is no better GnR drummer. Appetite for Destruction is about attitude and emotion. That is why it is easily the best record. He plays with piss, sweat, fire, blood and heart. You can't learn it, and you can't practice it.
Stephen is such an awesome guy!!! I met him one time when he was touring with the bad boys of metal tour way after being fired from Roses. We sat as drummers and spoke for over an hour. Just a true and genuine guy. I wish one day they'd all get back together.
It's Adler on drums man. Just doesn't have the soul without him there. Shows would be so much better with him there. His smile, energy, his groove, and him just happy to be there. Bring him back.
Steven has his own sound and in my opinion that is what made GNR what they were back in the day and they need him back in the band ASAP! Also he is a great writer and co-wrote the first 2 albums they recorded. The man deserves a chance he is clean and sober now has years under his belt and is a good man ! I have talked to him about this personally and trust me this is what he wants in life is to be back playing with his brothers. ❤✌😎
0:03 the radiant look on Steven's face up on the Tron gets me every fucking time. Some spirits really are impossible to crush totally. It's amazing that this crowd got to see up close how much this meant to him.
It's really hard not to root for Steven Adler. His smile is contagious. And I know the decades long joke of "how the hell do you get kicked out of Guns N Roses for having a drug problem?" but he cares so much and I wish they'd just do an entire tour with him.
I met Steven back in 2000 when I was a cable technician at his parent's Las Vegas high rise condo he had bought for them. Got to say he and his family where super nice people.
Propably one of his bigger shows ever in a pretty uncomfortable set-up. And then nailing it like this after all those years of not playing with these guys, awesome!
He said in an interview that he practices the Appetite songs every day because he likes them very much, so I guess it's not a problem to nail them on stage.
Makes my soul soooo HAPPY seeing him KILL IT WITH HIS BAND! Makes me sooo happy that I actually gave a set of his drums!!! Some of his 1st black sets of Pearls!

Steve "Popcorn" Adler was, and still is, awesome! I guess when he sees, in the backstage, other drummers playing the songs who he helped to create, it's the same feeling of being betrayed be the person you loved the most.

Still missing a huge part-Izzy! You have to have those five! Gilby, Fortus and the rest of the guitarists that have been in G N'R are great players, but they're just not Izzy Stradin'. They don't have the same writing or rhythm feel. If they patched things up and invited Izzy and Steven back full-time, then started writing sessions and pre-production for a new album....man....
1:28 That's the look. The look when you're totally locked in as an ensemble and it just feels right. My band director called it being in the "center" of the pulse pocket. It takes incredible synergy to achieve this in music, especially as a rhythm section in a rock band, and there's simply no denying the chemistry between Duff and Steven-it was the foundation for their original, and in my opinion, their best sound.
