Gunsite - Killer on the Run 

Nearly 40 years ago, 4 guys attempted to get on an Arizona Sounds album (that's vinyl, kiddies).
The KDKB contest was open to anyone willing to try.
With only an apartment complex clubhouse, amateur recording engineer, an old Sony reel to reel, and a used reel of tape, 2 mismatched microphones and a drunk apartment manager who kept interrupting the session, they were able to accomplish being rejected.
We're still kinda proud of the results in spite of it all.
