Escape from Tarkov patch 0.13 overhauled the gunsmith task line. Starting at Gunsmith Part 4, not only do we have some new guns to work on, but the order has been heavily shuffled.
My gunsmith guides aren't just walkthroughs on how to build it, but also a dive into how to do them as cheaply as possible.

You'll sit at 35 ergo following this now. Change the M4SS stock to the AR-15 CMMG RipStock buttstock and you'll be good.

The OP-SKS you get as a quest reward can also be used. I tossed a dovetail mount with a "tyulpan" scope with an eyecup attached and turned that straight in.

OMG I was trying to do the same thing and was missing the eyecup for the extra ergo, thought I had to wait hours for the tapco to reset. Thx for the comment

In terms of straight roubles you actually make money doing it this way. 15k for scope 1k for eyecup and completed. Then you get 25k as reward.

@@britainboi1019 "What's On The Flash Drive" is given by Skier. You need to turn in 2 FIR Flash drives, and he will give an OP-SKS that nearly fits all requirements like the initial comment said.

I've literally ran this gun minus the suppressor for 10 levels early wipe. I got the suppressor and lost It same raid I wondered why it was the only thing pulled off my gun now I know.

You can also trade for a tapco SKS for a GP coin and a screwdriver, it's not an op sks but it doesn't sell out

@@ks23atexfil well, here's another. Gunsmiths that require the shift grip can be done by trading for that custom mpx on mechanic too. I got the shift back when they weren't on the flea for anything less than a marked key. Always be sure to check gun barters, some have rare parts or some even complete the gun for you like the sks one

Why doesn't tbis work with the Fab defense stock? I used the exact gun from the quest reward you mentioned. Added a cobra mount and a swampfox 3x scope. All of the criteria are met, but I can't turn it in

I have been playing the game for 3 years, so there is a lot of earned knowledge there. The wiki is also a great source of this. I also just sit and play with each gunsmith before I do a video to try and find cheaper builds, or easier builds than the most obvious ones.

I usually love your videos and I know you are trying to save us money but just show a screen with the parts at the beginning and let us decide if we need to watch the rest.. I literally just paused the video at like 43 seconds.. bought everything you had on the screen and stopped watching.
