Despite the Gunston 500 being the oldest running surfing contest in the world, this feature for the SABC was rare, as surfing was still a very new sport for TV back then. It nonetheless shows the vibe and excitement of what became an annual highlight for beach culture in Durban at the time.

What a mess. The children of foreign colonialists enjoying themselves while apartheid was still ravaging through the country and disenfranchising genuine South Africans from enjoying basic rights in their own country.

It was absolutely fabulous . And now as you lot see the chaos that diversity brings you , we in South Africa simply buy our apartheid and live the lives that can only be dreamt of by the poor clowns in Europe who've surrendered their countries to the agenda . Ha we laugh all the way to the bank . Nothings changed . I'm texting whilst watching a local polish my Dino and another one cooking my dinner . Utter bliss . Please enjoy not being a racist, I think you're going to see that your sanctimony is going to facilitate watching your children being slaughtered by clowns from Africa and the Middle East .
