The work that Gunther Werks do to these cars is so cool. They modernise these great iconic porsche's and bring them back to life. The research and development they put in is crazy. The fact its designed engineered and manufactured in house. Every car gets bespoke and custom treatment. Hand assembled. Its an unbelievable place.

I think my first purchase after winning the lottery would be a Gunther Werks car. I'd choose GW over a Singer every time. DROOOOOOOOL!!!

great inside look. usually when these are shown its just a quick showing of one at a show. But they just make them so classy/classic for a car that is so over the top but not in a cheesy way like one of the other porsche companies.

Interesting craftmanship but some vey weird arab prince choices. Carbon fibre dash top (non structural and shiny for a part that should not generate reflections?), interior CF door handles snd leather door pulls in the same place as well (why?), very tacky aftermarket instruments, cup holders in a sportscar (who drinks milkshake in a sportscar?). Magnesium is only a smart choice for GW as the wheels as the customer will need to be reminded to change them every 5 years as magnesium cracks and has a limited structural life. Out of curiosity I looked up the weight of the car on the GW website. For the coupé it is 1214 kg (2677 lbs). The standard car (Wikipedia) is 1370kg (3131 lb) so the expensive CF make over saves just 156 kg (11%) over standard. I was expecting a CF rebodied car to come in at 1000 -1100 kg so there is an extra 20% improvement to come.
