harshit gupta yes, the guptas were indian as well, and they basically took over colonialism of south africa after the easily sunburned people were removed from power. when i still lived there 20 years ago, south africa had the largest population of indians outside of india. i don't know if that has changed since then. but still, some of my favorite memories of south africa was going to the indian markets, where every stall had incense burning, and there was so much delicious vegetarian curry, and all the fabrics and clothes they sold looked so elegant and beautiful. i was always mesmerized when my family would take me there. it was like an entirely different world, but so amazing. but the guptas who have the south african government as their lackeys do not have the country's best interests at heart

It's a business man. No one did nothing wrong. If you can't start business, some one will start the business. How can you say investors are wrong. Can we call the American investors are wrong for investing in India. Don't take blame, there is nothing wrong in doing business. If you have money and place need to invest. That's it invest. And they received national condemnation in SA because many people there believe that they were controlling the South African government under President Jacob Zuma from the inside out. And that enabled the Guptas to become even richer through the means of corruption.

@CanadaCommunity OrgGupta is a very common surname, but what I meant was I didn't know "exactly" which Gupta family is he talking of...he is here talking about the Gupta family comprising of business men like Atul,Ajay,Rajesh who migrated to South Africa and set up a business there. The family had strong ties to former South African president Jacob Zuma, both personally and through its company Oakbay Investments.

@CanadaCommunity Org Gupta is a very ancient Indian last name. There was a Gupta dynasty around 3rd century CE to 6th century CE and their rule is called golden age of India. A fun fact is, decimal number system was developed during their rule.
