@@gavinsteiner3759 Sikhs are always welcoming , hospitable people , I have many friends here in UK and have visited their Gurdwara’s , ate langar and have always been treated with respect. Something about food at the langar , always tastes better than elsewhere. Thank you again for showing this place in Pakistan. We are excited to follow the rest of your journey.

Punjabi was not her issue, it was relaying everything he said back in English, I'm not saying that her English was not that good (although that was part of it), the thing is this uncle did say a lot of things, so it was hard to figure out where to begin translating lol

present day Pakistan Punjab was birth place of Sikhism. but now Pakistan has almost finished Sikhism and Sikhs from there.

Indian punjab was a birth place of sikhs, but unfortunately genocide of sikhs like 1984 committed by hindus has killed so many sikhs😢 thats why sikhs migrate to Canada, Australia and America to save their lifes 😢

when India was being invaded one after another by outsiders in ancient times it was the Punjab, now divided between India and Pakistan which took the most beating. because of genocides one after the other it gave birth to the warrior community called Sikh. they have saved millions of Indians specially women. they are a big reason that present day India not an Islamic country.

minorities in Pak treated the worst in the world. when the country was created minority percentage was 23 in the last census it was about 3 now it is said to be below 1. to be Prime Minister or president you need to be Muslim. till 2017 Hindu marriages were illegal in this country. so many temples have been destroyed and either mosque or public toilets created on those places. the qualification of janitors in the country so many ads is you have to be Hindu or Christian. when millions of Hindus were running away from Pakistan to India because of persecution in 1940 and 50's pak government said that if all Hindus go away who will clean our toilets. each year thousands of girls of minority get abducted brutalized forcefully converted to islam and married while police refused to file FIR. on August 23, 2023 in Faisalabad Pakistan at least 26 churches and 89 Christian homes were burnt.

You should definitely go to the Sikh temple which is not far away from Lahore and there indian Sikhs also allowed to come that is quite big and famous,and that temple is renevated by Prime minister Imran Khan
