This is another Upcycled or Thrift Flip of a French Country Lamp & Lampshade. I will teach you how to achieve an Old World Gustavian Finish on a thrifted lamp and how to Upcycle a New or Thrifted Lampshade to give it a New Life.

Your attention to detail is impressive. Wanting to share a professionally done product with your customers is something I share with you. Someone once told me that they loved my art. I thanked her, she replied, "there is a difference between home made and hand made". Your work is a great example.....btw, I test for dry paint using the same method......LOL

I'm so glad that you allowed me to bring you a little joy and light to your world, that means more to me than the compliments. :) As far as dealing with others... There is not need for negativity, revenge, getting even or kicking down on someone else, just because they don't agree with you. I was always taught to treat others how I would want to be treated and even though sometimes it is hard, that is how I choose to live my life. I'd rather take the high road and move on, that's also what I taught my children and it has served them well as well. I do believe in karma though and I believe that what you put out into the universe is what you get back tenfold. For one, I want to give as much information and pass on the knowledge I've gained over the years doing this. But for two, I have never been a slap some paint on it and call it a day type person. As for the curtains; we have tall ceilings and it was difficult to find long curtains, in my style that didn't cost an arm and a leg so they are actually vintage Ralph Lauren Twin Sheets in the Allison pattern that I revamped into curtains. When you added the broach, you over did it and your lamp became tacky...just saying...sometimes less is more

I appreciate the comment as I know that I tend to go over the top sometimes, but that's my style and I know it's not for everyone. That is why I did make the Brooch removable in case whomever purchases it doesn't have to keep it on there. Thank You so much for taking the time to view my video and for your comment.
