@@aidanknox2430 I believe that's how that is. Open notes on a tuba follow the Bb harmonic series, Bb F Bb D F Bb starting from the space below 2 ledger lines below the staff going to space above the staff
@@RealAshPlaysGames The longer you are in band/ play an instrument, the more common they get. I'm a sophomore and when I first got in high school, they tripped me up too. Don't fret, you'll get used to it! :D
@@cartertetleton5947 Yeah, I know. I’m in 8th grade and they are ALREADY doing that. I keep thinking G Flat is G Sharp, and I keep messing up the position. They are also putting B Natural as C Flat, which I ALSO am confusing for C Sharp. It’s really annoying why they do this and it doesn’t even make sense. Like, why not just put the notes that we have been learning for all of the time we have been in band?
