@@Adentalgrl I'm researching this now. I don't think it may be a bad thing. You probably eat a decent amount of Protien, therefore, of course you will have microbes that help process that protein. I'm worried they are making this into something it's not. Like what they did to animal fat, however, animal is actually good for our body providing needed nutrients not found in plants, such as butyrate. I make vids on natural health that are not widely known (as there is no money in something like Vitamin D and many other supplements). Please subscribe.
@@RootsOfEden911 When I eat too much protein you can smell the fermented proteins. My sweat, breath, urine, and feces smells like it. It's a very distinct smell. Quite disgusting, too. I do not absorb nutrients properly when this occurs, either. I went carnivore for 2 months and my health started to decline. I would get so tired I had to go to sleep after a meal. Joint pain was getting really bad. My psoriasis came back. Hair was falling out more. Had a huge horizontal dip in my nail that stopped forming once I added other foods. Brain fog was bad. Anyway, I could go on. I don't think everyone will experience what I do however, my microbiome is not conducive for eating loads of meat. I still do find myself heavy on meat especially in the cold months because the options for fresh veggies is more limited for the veggies I eat but my body doesn't do well with it. Meat is great and absolutely necessary. I have a half cow in my freezer right now. I am not against meat in the slightest. I just have to add low anti-nutrient plants to my diet or I don't do well. It's important to understand our own unique microbiome as there is no one size fits all for diet. There are guidelines that I believe fit everyone (eat animals and stay away from anything that won't rot in a timely manner) but there are things that are different for everyone, too. Like, my husband can eat tomatoes but my body reacts to them poorly. It's all a matter of our own microbiome.
@@Adentalgrl Do you mean the ketosis smell? Yes, I agree, everyone is different because our biome is different. Sounds like you could benefit from some fermented food and kombucha.
