I was forced by my mother to have an abortion at 16. I hid the pregnancy for 25 weeks until she realized I was pregnant. She took me to Planned Parenthood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I believed I was too far along for an abortion but the PP woman told my mother she'd lie and say I was only 16-18 weeks and the U of I hospital would do the abortion even after knowing I was further along. The doctor told the nurse to shut the little b*tch up and treated me horrible. The nurse was cruel. My mother said don't give me any pain medication. I needed to suffer as much as possible. I had a 2 day procedure and was forced to endure labor of which my mom kept telling me to stop being a drama queen. She left me alone in a dirty motel bathroom floor by the hospital to wait until next day. She went shopping while I laid on cold dirty floor vomiting and screaming in pain. The next day the doctor and nurses were very cruel. The loud vacuum sound procedure was extremely painful but they wouldn't give me anything for pain. A room full of students were allowed in to watch as I screamed in pain. After it stopped the nurse pulled me to a sitting position and blood was all over. That was 1982 and I still cannot face it and heal. I'm going to watch this video and try to face the horror of what occurred that day.
