Strange she did not say anything when Walgreens were being hit. It is only after the "Rich" people's stores were getting hit, that she begins to realize there is a problem.
Because those are the stores she frequents and shops at. And definitely all her donors shop there. That's the only reason she's doing something about it. She doesn't care about the average Joe in San Fran. Just her wealthy constituents/donors.

I always love how politicians cause a problem, then need money to fix the problem they caused, then want accolades for "fixing" a problem, that wasn't a problem, until they caused the problem.

Listening to the mayor of San Fran saying her city needed to get tougher on crime brings an old saying to mind: Talk is cheap. She can talk till she is blue in the face, but until she actually DOES something about crime in her city, I will not believe her.
I wonder how many people remember what a beautiful city San Francisco used to be? It was breathtaking. And the people were NICE. You could ask directions from a stranger on the street and they would go out of their way to help you. Of all the cities to turn into a cesspool, why this city?
