@@randb4865 7-11 stores are franchised privately run and owned businesses. They are forced to buy and offer products from the Corportation but are on their own. THEY each pay for their theft insurance. When thefts become so massive, the insurance carriers cancel them. THAT is why many companies leave these blue cites and states. The outcome is simple. The time will come when there will be no place to buy anything within 100 miles of these problem cities. It has already happened in many of them. California has had some 200 businesses leave. Chicago is in trouble.

LOVE IT - I'm a native Californian, and SICK of legislature / courts - this happened 30 miles down the road in the next county. WE in Rural Calaveras don't allow the theft - our deputies and DA have made that clear - it also helps that 90% of our folks are armed. We still have burglars... but that will slow WAY down when the next one is caught by the homeowner - shot & buried. BLESS the Sikh Community - don't push them.

I lived in the general area, and I was not allowed to do things in Stockton, I mainly stayed in Modesto and Manteca because there wasn't major issues there, this was the 2000's

That's the problem, when that person in the background says to the owners, "There's nothing you can do man. You have insurance" This type of mentality is encouraging these thieves to keep doing this. This was the most satisfying video I've seen ever since these lawlessness acts have been popping up on the news and internet. Every shopkeeper should start having those long bamboo sticks that can help them from these types of criminals. Better yet, learn some martial arts too.

Update:: D.A. determined NO charges. Edit: The robber, Frazier, was arrested on Monday and the D.A. said at NO time were the clerks suspects. The investigation that did happen was an investigation on the thief ONLY.

I recently retired after teaching at one of the leading international schools here in Thailand for more than 20+ years. I had occasion to meet many Sikh parents. Trust me when I say this, the whole "be less of a toxic masculine male, don't protect your wife and kids with physical means, etc etc.." YEAH, trust me they NEVER got that memo. I greatly respected these gentlemen and how they infused their values into their children's attitude towards their own education.... I would NOT want to be on the 'bad' end of one of these gentlemen. Massive respect to all Sikh parents, and to the Sikh gentleman who wielded his stick so effectively. 👍

It might be hard for the left; the guy beat up was black but the guys who did it are from India (i. e. brown people), they would already have been arrested if they had been white, so who has more "victim" points to use for their get out of jail free card? Personally, I can see the cops arresting the two guys and the store closing. If they were smart, they would already have fled back to India until the heat dies down.

Praise to the hard-working shopkeepers for stopping this thief. Hopefully, that thief won't turn around and file a lawsuit against the shopkeepers and the store owner which is some part why stores have no longer stopped thieves due to possible assault lawsuits filled by the thieves. Crazy - yes.
