I lived in the Shillong from 1994 to 2005 .I from UP . I used to travel Shillong to Guwahati & Guwahati to Shillong when I lived in Shillong . I will visit Shillong in future once again.
I was in Shillong from 1967 to 1970 during my service and we use to enjoy the food of Delhi Mishtan Bhabdhar purani yadein Taaza ho gaye with my family now I m settled in mumbai keep it up beta for reminding me my old golden days
Whenever we plan to visit Shillong from Guwahati , hamesha hum 5-6 am ke beech nikal jaate hai. That lets you reach Shillong by 9, with ample time for having breakfast in Nongpoh. And then one can literally explore most of Shillong city from like 10am-6 pm. Also, the next day one can start at 6 to Cherrapunjee and leave by 3 pm, letting you reach Guwahati the same day.

I also went to Red rice .. But tried Non-veg . We North Easterns r generally non -veg .And especially except Assam vegetarian place is hard to find .It will take hours if you don't know beforehand. So baki jo ho na ho khane ka place pehle se jan k ana.
North East is very different from other state that's way we love to live in North East i will never leave my North East and move to other place . please come and feel the pleasure of north east states😍😗🙋

Shillong is the swezrland of North East. Weather is very cool and amazing. Most importantly very clean state unlike other metro politian cities in India

Mera bhaiya Guwahati se Shillong daily up-down karta tha Yezdi Classic Bike se sawar hoke in the year 1987-88 me. 1989 me main shillong gaya tha, abhi to bahut change ho chuka hain. I am from Assam.
Northeast mein infrastructure bohat acha hua hain last 5 years mein... Mein bhi Shillong ghum ke aya abhi..Police Bazar evening time bohat enjoy kiya.. Nice video..
