There is an anti theft film that is designed to keep the glass, even if shattered to hold together. It is used by many stores for their storefronts to prevent people from breaking into their stores. They can shatter the glass but it still holds together. you should look into putting this on your machines.
The most expensive part of being robbed isn't even the major prize. It's the fact that you have to clean up, find the replacement glass and calling the police.
That glass can be replaced for 20-30 for material, 40-50 for fitting. Clean up less than one hour even if you paid someone $10 per hour that’s $10 and calling the cops is free... so you are wrong
@@amcc2130 you have to find someone to clean up the mess assuming you find someone in a hurry you probably pay more than an hour. You have to file a police report and wait for the police to come and review the footage so you have to stay at the store or have someone stay there to explain the situation. Plus you can't do any business which means a loss in profit. The biggest loss isn't the prize but rather loss in potential profit and time.
Dustpan and brush, run hoover over mess (less than one hour while waiting for police to come) and pull prizes from machine and switch it off... done. Your still wrong Mr Wong
Robbing these machines aren't hard since no one is usually around which is why most arcade owners I think have the box where you exchange for the real prize because they are so scared that their machines get broken because of the damage and time it waste is way more of a loss than just the prize.
Come on you guys... Give the man a thumbs up... He's trying to run a business and got thieves steeling his product and damageing his business... Thats not cheep... He didn't look up and all them machines fell from the sky. I'm very sure he worked hard for everything he's got.. Blood sweat and tears in his stuff.. I can't stand a thief... There's a lot more in that then he shows you. He just enjoys showing you all that you can make your job fun....And life is what you make it.. And i really enjoy watching you.. And im a pore 57 year old man. Watching this dude thrive in life..this young...Its really cool and thank you. I enjoy everything your doing in life.....For real..
Haters are your biggest fans , They try to bring you down in life but little do they know its drives us to work harder every day, and they help us even if they don't want to , they still give us attition
What I saw kinda gives me an idea about how to prevent theft from the machines, how about u put different prize choices on cards on rings that will turn off when they select it so they have to go up to the front to claim the prize they won
@@cssc5576 yet you're here in his comments on his video giving him more views making him more successful, the only loser here is you kid , btw kid haters are your biggest fans
I saw this video like 4 years ago and I’ve been looking for this channel ever since and I’ve finally found it ant it brings back so many memories of rewatching all these videos thanks for still posting
In some states you can't record sound without the consent of the person being recorded, which means even if Michigan does allow voice recording without consent, he can't upload the sound without violating the laws of other states.
sorry to hear that happened dude. Seriously I don't know why people do those things but at least your were able to save some money but using some existing plexiglass, if I ever go to Michigan I am going to hit up one of your arcades.
Research a variety of increased security options, everything from materials, to barriers, to alarms, to higher security locks or adding entryway doors that lock and so on. Check out reviews of security for brand names your considering and get what is most logical. The more time and noise that you create, the riskier it becomes for them. They make simple little pucks you stick on windows that detect vibration or breaking. They make glass that doesn't shatter away like that. The brand of locks used matters, insanely. Adding an extra non-glass barrier that prizes can't fit through, also is an option. This is not at all a complete list of resources for you, this is a start. I believe you are not faking this for ad revenue and views, because you are making people angry at the people doing property damage, which could then lead to innocent people being punished.
My suggestion to you is that if people keep doing this to machines at your arcades, have an an attendant on hand to keep a monitor on things. I am a maintance technition and attendant at the arcade that I work at during the summers at York Wild Kingdom in York, Maine. Nothing happens in that arcade due to the fact that some one is in there working in there while it is open. If no one is in there, it is closed. Might be buying it and moving it to Rochester, New Hampshire in the future if they decided to fully close it in the future.
You should replace your glass with laminated glass the film in between the two pieces of glass will make it a lot more difficult to get in it's the same film as windshield glass you can even get tempered laminated glass yes it's more money but will prevent the theft of your prizes
That's horrible! I'm sorry people are so messed up and selfish! :( It's sad to see that people are so desperate, they steal money from an arcade game. Hopefully you get it fixed and this doesn't happen again!
man in this economy people will do anything for money I'm so sorry this happened to you I'll be praying things will get better from here on out love your videos keep up your awesome work
Put on glass breaking alarms and use something better, either attach some plexi-glass to it or add a wire cage or bars or something. You can't stop glass breakers from breaking glass, but you don't have to just use glass. Also, shouldn't the arcade be locked down with a gate when it's closed? The arcade I used to go to, had a metal cage rolling shutter that they would lockdown before they left. Either increase your defense or start using offense.
I'm so so sorry for your mis fortune. Hang in there stay positive. Karma will get those thieves. I love your channel keep chasing the dream. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️. ✌🏻🦋
Its sad to see young entrepreneurs dealing with crap like this. Such a bummer but you seem to handle it well. Hopefully they get caught. Cheers and keep pushing forward.
You can get some Window Security Film to put on the glass. Yes its not that cheap but not super expensive. and while yes the glass would have to be replaced afterwards. but nearly impossible to have anything taken from inside.
I would put lexan on it instead of glass, I would replace all of the glass on all of those with lexan, it will cost a lot but you won't have this problem anymore, at least for that location.
I hope you do catch the guy. people don't know what it takes to run an arcades and when people do stupid sh*t like that is not just hearting you but everyone that won'ts to play in your arcade cant because you have to fix your machines and get police in to see all the damage done when they break your machines. i hope this dosent keep happening with you. also i love watching your videos but it makes me sad when i see this happen. stay strong.
To casual players, this wouldnt feel very rewarding. Especially in cases where we try to win a prize for a significant other. A stuffed animal is more romantic than a piece of paper.
@@bigred3164 Obviously he wouldn't need to do that for $2 plush or $0.50 small toys, just the high value items like top row KeyMaster or Stacker Major Prizes to prevent this kind of theft. Other arcades do the same thing to prevent vandals and thieves, it's not a bad idea.
People are stupid who do that and probably have drug issues and I love your video so much and keep up the good job and good work and I love it so much brother man
@@hondaklatt Exactly. Malls are making less and less revenue every year, so they can't afford to hire enough guards to keep the entire premises covered at all times. It sucks, but that's the reality of the economy right now.
Wow such a dueshbag why would they do that I would put my self if the persons perdition before stealing (Aka I won’t steal unless they are just out right rude)
You need to not focus on the bad and pay attention to the good. You have tons of people supporting you. I hope this man gets in trouble for what he did. Hope you have a better year.
@@MIGUZI This one, the legal trouble one, the other breaking in machine one and guy was just fixing the lock. alot of them although I watch them cause I know
Damn. Sorry this happened. I'd love to just GO to your arcade as I'm a huge arcade nerd and fan of yours. Can't believe someone would rob the machines. So low.
As a police officer, I can not stress enough. If you want to report a past B+E or Larceny, DONT TOUCH ANYTHING! I understand when anyone finds out their property has been broken into, they just want to clean everything up and make it better before calling the police. All this does is taint any evidence that may have been there. Please just leave it how you found it and call. It makes our job easier as well.
That sucks. I hope you find him for what he deserves for stealing from Claw Kicker. I hate it when people do something stupid. It's wrong and they'll have to pay for it someway!!!!
Cheap security put some clear tint on the inside of the glass on the Machine so if they brake it again the glass stays put and they have to work harder to get in. You can also get lamented glass it is more expensive but they would have to brake the glass then cut the plastic center of the glass and brake the second layer of glass. The idea it to make it take a long time as you can. This will scare them off and also give security a chance to possibly to catch them.
@claw kicker if I might make an suggestion I'm an ex security officer you could put hidden cameras in the more vulnerable machines that you can link to the WiFi and alarms every time some one hampers with your machine. Peace and respect from the uk
That would royally piss me off... if it happens again try the heavy duty glass with the wire mesh that's embedded in it. Thick plexiglass is good as well.
Bro I'm so sorry that dude broke into the stacker game. Things are getting bad and things might get worse. So bro hope you get the guy who did it and his accomplice. They both should be charged.
