I work in a place that makes Guy Fieri's Flavortown food and I can say that most of it is frozen food and it mostly comes in pre-packaged. Before Covid, the brand I worked for made almost everything in-house and since we were acquired by the brand responsible for the FlavorTown Kitchen, things have been going downhill
I loved the colorful food packaging. Unfortunately, "not bad" is how I would characterize the food, too. The burger was rather bland and forgettable, the meat in the Cuban sandwich was a bit dry, and I received potato chips instead of the "crispy potato sticks" mentioned in the menu. Since I can make good food at home, I can't justify paying a premium for "not bad" food. Fortunately, I used an Uber Eats $15 off $20 order coupon.
I bought the frozen meal Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Bowl. It was AWFUL. I just saw a review on Sporked and it is right on. VERY DISSAPOINTED. Waste of money
I just ordered for the first time tonight... Got the Mac n Cheese burger, pig poppers, cheesesteak egg rolls, Mac n Cheese and two Cubano sandwiches. $90 later though( Uber Eats gotta get paid too). The kitchen they were cooking out of is Bertuccis. Wish me luck
The reviews are determined by what is ordered as well as personal preferences. That's why I hate reviews that don't detail what was ordered and why the low or high rating.
To be fair the people who reviewed this menu probably is right because whenever I order any virtual kitchen food from Buca di Beppo on Uber eats it’s always cold and nasty and missing items.but if I order other virtual foods that aren’t from Buca di Beppo well the experience is so different the food is actually cooked perfectly still hot and I have all my items.since I’m from Orlando I’ll never order virtual foods from Buca di Beppo again.and sucks because I was going to try guys soon but I’m scared now knowing it comes from that place.
Interesting take. I guess it really does depend on what restaurant is preparing the food. Probably makes it tough for virtual kitchens to maintain a good standard of quality. Very good point. Thanks for watching! - Manny
@@OTownReview I work at a restaurant that does virtual kitchens and every restaurant is different and has different ways to make the food, although that shouldn’t happen and it should all be uniform a lot of kitchens sometimes don’t have the product in order to fulfill each steps, due to the fact that some kitchens due up to 4-5 virtual kitchens and their regular menu
It’s good but I’ve had a bad experience with the wings one time and wrote a post and now everyone one writing reviews is saying that they suck so they suck
cheap ingredients and lousy food and flavors, sadly second time I tried and wasn't even on as a flavortown thing or I would not of ordeded the second time with a different resterant.
Which ever one of these restauarants is closest to you is probabaly the one making your order: Buca di Beppo, Brio Italian Grille, Bravo Italian Kitchen, and Bertucci’s.
I may give this a second try, but the first experience was terrible. I didn't realize it was a ghost kitchen though - which obviously affects the quality
Seems like a rip off also mac and cheese isn't good on a burger those are called stunt burgers and you said it wasn't that bad but for 55$ forget that trash also alot of places you can order from on like ubereats or grubhub can be ghost kitchens I was working at a olive garden for two weeks for a paycheck and they had a area setup for wings and chicken sandwichs that was only for online ordering
Yeah, delivery only. You can order it from the main Flavortown website or I believe you can also use Doordash, Uber Eats, etc if it's available in your area.
Absolutely disgusting. Ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad, jalapeño stuffed bacon wrapped & Mac & cheese... bout $56 plus $4.00 tip. Salad had missing chicken breast. Salad was dry, croutons lacking flavor. Jalapeños I would’ve rather made my own and they would’ve been wayyyyy better & not soggy. Mac & Cheese had a weird cheese taste to it. Kraft Mac & cheese would’ve been better. Why would Guy Feiri who travels the country tasting superb food put his name on something like this. Yuck 🤢 It’s allll bad. Just gross.
