1977..............long gone, unfortunately! The horizon is coming closer & closer for ALL of us. No one gets away! SAD, to say the least. First, The Mighty, Mike Bossy on April 15th (born 1/22/1957) and today, a week later, sadly - The Graceful & Classy, The One & Only - Guy Lafleur (born 9/20/1951). Bossy & Lafleur were my two favorite NHL players of ALL time. R.I.P. MUCH RESPECT from STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN. April 22, 2022

I've seen Guy Lafleur play his Junior hockey in Quebec City in 69-70-70-71... Quebec Remparts Memorial Cup Champions! Lafleur: 130 goals in 62 regular season games in 70-71! Only 103 in 69-70 in 56 games! If you were a kid or a young teenager like me who enjoyed and payed hockey back in these days, Guy Lafleur was the talk of the city... every day!!! Good luck with your health brother GUY.

I wanted to be a hockey player because of Guy Lafleur but I wasn’t as talented but enjoyed playing anyway. I was talented as a cyclist and would ride for miles. I wish I would have followed his advise and used my cycling talent to be a pro and ride in the Tour de France. Great advise Guy for anyone not to waste your talent on anything you’re good at in life. RIP, you will always be one of the greats.

Lafleur and Orr were the two most spectacular players ever. Their skating prowess, the way they moved and the way they moved have never been matched. They were work horses and they loved their fans.

My hockey idol growing up in Detroit was Gordie Howe of the Detroit Red Wings. To me, he was the very best and after a game at the old Olympia Stadium, my friend and I waited outside in the freezing cold to see him and the other Red Wings exit the building and get on a waiting bus to take them to their next game. Many years later as a married man, I went to a game between the LA Kings and the Red Wings. I sent my wife down to the railing during the Wing’s skating practice to try and get Gordie’s autograph. She was blonde and pretty and when he saw her he skated over and signed our program which I still have. He said “Hi Blondie” to her. That was neatly 50 years ago but our hockey hero’s are not soon forgotten.

Interview questions disappointing for such a sporting legend to at times suffer through.

I wonder what it's like for a native French speaker to have to speak to another native French speaker in English (insert any other languages in place of what I wrote). They may have spoken French before and after the interview.

Is the interviewer getting paid by the question or something? Instead of allowing for a natural flow of conversation, for some reason the interviewer keeps assaulting him with a barrage of random questions
