doesn't have an HGV license though, got taken to court because his was a fake Irish one, charges were dropped as he believed it was real, his defence said his Autism made him believe people at face value
Well you say that haha, Guy last year had some issues as they discovered that his driving license was fake haha. He was eventually cleared as it seems he was led to believe his Irish one was genuine which he then used to apply for a UK one. I still think its ironic. (There are few news articles about it)
@@tomsonfire3740 yeah, only a wanker would be interested in being PM, so Guy doesn't qualify. Plus imagine the trouble they'd have transcribing him for Hansard!
u musta gotta bashed around in those early tanks, no suspension falling down a steep hill, metal inside, metal outside - i bet plenty men fractured bones.
There's camera recordings of a tank demonstration for King George V. The tank crashes down after hurdling an ammunition bunker, at which point the tank stops and only one guy steps out. Turns out the rest of the crew are still inside, knocked unconscious from the impact. You can probably find the images online somewhere.
@@glenndemoor3020 3 guys got out and stood to attention, ready for inspection (eyes watering from carbon monoxide inhalation and deaf as a post). the rest of the crew were either unconcious from the landing or still inside with shattered ankles from the impact and unable to move.
Brother had 'Track laying vehicle steered by its tracks' on his license (he drove 432s). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FV432 Guy's test = basic driving test WWI tank driver = rally driver.
++Jonathan baker++ As I understand it Guy repairs and services HGV's as his daytime job and as such would need to have that category on is driver's licence.
Dwarfnz - You have to pass your car driving test first before you even attempt the other categories on your license such as the tracked vehicle and lorries licenses and other ones.
@@carwynjones8929 I should hope so! Same here (NZ). But the tests to get other catagories of license are a whole lot harder than that which Mr Martin had to go through to get licensed for track vehicles appeared to be,
@@dwarf_nz483 The tracked vehicle test cant cover much in depth because the low speed limit for tracked vehicles (20mph) makes it impractical to cover every possible junction type in a reasonable time. The assumption presumably is as you must have passed a car test first you should knkw what to do with the other junction types. I believe on the other hand lorry and bus tests are far more comprehensive and include much more due to their higher speed
