Don't be ashamed of your scars. They're battle scars that show the hell you've been through. People cope with pain in their own way. Some people cover themselves in tattoos and piercings (which, imo, are no different than scars, even though I personally don't like tattoos), and some of us have scars. They simply show you're alive.

Guy Sebastian is so brilliant on perspectives of crisis this year. I think he started the ball rolling sitting at his piano at home. You think how frustrating it was for an artist used to boot camping Stateside to come up with a prolific output and suddenly locked down for a considerable time. He could lose dramatic income like a film franchise by just freezing up. But he kept feeding his family with even far more personal feelings and altruistically helped so many doing it tough throughout Australia. Just by writing and performing, whether at a drive in movie or just anywhere. Between him and Nicole's hubby, they make Australia a proud Nation of our useful Pop music. He inspired me to turn back to my best period of art before he was born maybe. Whatever, I've now done a few fully fledged large canvases like my pre Internet Warhole type Art School days. I even sang in Bands then. I certainly had Battle Scars, but that was a part of The History Of Art I would enjoy learning 40 odd years later. I hope Guy let's me paint him one day. It's the least pay back I'm aware I can now give many.

The song that I dedicate to myself. I always sing this to myself and can’t stop myself from being emotional or from crying. I am suffering from mental health issues particularly anger issues, self control, and social anxiety. I can only think of a few people when I listen to this. One person has really been coming to mind. I just want a hug and for him to call be by the nickname he gave me; that would be really medicinal right now~ but he would need to let me walk away from him, not the other way around. Not that we had such a great relationship, but there were moments in the silence where he showed me things that are powerful. I miss you, and I know I can be negative- but I haven't been able to unlock myself to the world as I feel they're only going to see what they want to anyway.
